Great little mid-century style cafe… grab a booth or sit up at the bar and watch your food being prepared right in front of you. We went for a late breakfast on a Saturday morning and the place was packed with locals. Service was great and food was delicious!
Amazing service! Food was even better. visiting for a concert and will be here all weekend…is in walking distance of where we’re staying!
Nothing remarkable, but solid food in a vintage spot. French toast looked a little weird, but tasted fine. No major complaints from me.
My kind of old fashioned restaurant. Brings back memories from 50 years ago. Great staff.
This is the best hidden gem in the city. Always welcoming, great prices, perfect food. Such friendly staff. Love going to this place.
I came here for a Monte Cristo and some good cheap diner coffee and was not disappointed. Great food, great service, and classic hole-in-the-wall diner atmosphere. What more could you need?
Great brunch place and very affordable
Just like the old diners that were in my home town 50 years ago.
Cozy cafe, great service, great food. Based on Maps search we were going to go to Thurman cafe next door, but there were too many people waiting so we walked here instead. Definitely glad we gave it a chance, filled our bellies with tasty sandwiches (chicken bacon for husband, grilled cheeseburger for me).
I chose them over Starbucks terday and I do not regret it… and I saved some money too.
Stumbled across this place while looking for somewhere else to have breakfast and so glad I found it. The cook is absolutely amazing and you can watch him cook right in front of you if he said at the counter, which I did. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a long time and the hash browns are to die for.
25 minute wait. Not too bad. The back of the griddle has never been cleaned. Very cramped seating. From the time we sat down until we were served was 45 minutes. That was for cold eggs, stale toast, canned corned beef hash, and a tiny piece of floppy, soggy french toast. Very underwhelmed. Don’t let the locals’ reviews fool you. Oh yeah, the coffee tasted like dirt. Coffee shop? No. Diner. Hmm.
You've heard of dive bars right? This is a dive diner with excellent food that is priced right. Small and very busy on the weekends.
Cozy, good food, great staff, fast service!
One of the last greasy spoons that are a good value with quick service and amazing food. I will be back for sure...frequently.
Came in on a whim and we're not disappointed. The pancakes were fantastic, we got the pancake of the month which was raspberry vanilla....fantastic!
Lovely place to come and have breakfast everyone is super friendly and food is delicious. Prices and portions are great . I would recommend it to everyone .
Very cozy. Food is great. But more importantly, it is a very friendly place.
Great food with excellent prices! Super small restaurant so be prepared to wait.
Did not service me because I was on a business meeting call. Had me waiting 30 mins before I found out the weird policy when all the waiter had to do was say that. Will never go back in there again and I been going there for years.
