Great friendly knowledgeable staff, quality coffee and it's own individualized casual comfy local atmosphere. 4 stars instead of five because they serve store bought chain (good but commercial) pastries in this artisan neighborhood.

Love this place :) Sure it opens a little later around 8:30 AM but the vibe is easy and the staff is super friendly. Bring your pup into the shop for quick orders as well so you don't have to leave them outside ;)

I am absolutely appalled by the treatment I received at Koffie Cafe in Ohio City. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, but instead, I was belittled and made to feel stupid by the barista. When I placed my order for a Dirty Chai Latte with three shots of espresso, the barista gave me a weird look and made a negative comment about my order. She asked "who would order three shots of espresso?" while laughing, which made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable in front of the other customers. To make matters worse, when I said "have a nice day" as I was leaving, the barista ignored me and gave me a rude look. This behavior is completely unacceptable, and I will never return to this establishment again. I understand that mistakes happen, and not every interaction with a business will be perfect, but the way I was treated at Koffie Cafe is simply unacceptable. As a customer, I deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, and the barista's behavior fell far short of that standard. I would strongly caution anyone considering visiting Koffie Cafe in Ohio City to think twice before doing so. If this is how they treat their customers, then they do not deserve anyone's business. There are plenty of other coffee shops in the area that value their customers and provide excellent service, and I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Nice cozy atmosphere offering very good coffees and teas with friendly service. However, they should stick to drinks and skip the food! The avocado toast consists of guacamole spread onto a ciabatta roll because they didn't have toast! Walk across the street to the Westside market and purchase fresh bread and real avocados!

Small cozy coffeehouse in Ohio City. The baristas, especially Jeremy were super friendly and helpful. Great coffee and food offerings as well.

Low class place. What I mean is the place is dirty and rocky tables. No one was there but all the tables were dirty. Coffee luke warm. I’ll probably never come back. Customers deserve better. The coffee was terrific. Chai Latte tastes like Christmas but again luke warm coffee.

November 2022: it was a cold, breezy Sunday morning in Cleveland when my family wanted to visit the Westside market. Since we had parked for free in front of the coffee shop, we decided to go in and get something warm to drink. I ordered the turtle Latte, a caramel flavored latte with a hint of walnut that was not too sweet but potent. My wife ordered the toddy with a shot of hazelnut flavor while the kids had hot chocolate. Everything was good. Pros: * Plenty of space inside with ample seating and tables available. * Friendly cashier who patiently explained everything to us. * Good coffee at decent prices. * They have food options available that pair well with coffee. Cons: * Parking can be an issue in Ohio City because it is a bustling area. You can pay for parking near the West Side Market for $5-$10 or park for free a few blocks away and walk a bit. Conclusion: I will return.

Really nice place. Delicious coffee. Can get slammed at times, grab a wine next door while you wait ;). Walking distance from many local breweries.

Really wanted to like this place. Great location with a grunge dive-bar vibe. The young person behind the counter (only person working) was friendly which is why this is a two star review, not a one star. The coffee and food were just plain bad. My wife had the chai latte which, in their words, was not as hot as a latte should be but tasted nice. The toddy just tasted burnt and the "scrambled" egg sandwich made me nauseous. I put "scrambled" in quotes because it was microwaved, not scrambled. I wouldn't have ordered a microwaved egg sandwich and, like I said, it made me sick for about four hours after. Will not be returning.

I have been coming to Koffie Cafe` for a few years. It is one of those hidden gems of the city. The large dining area that is a bit hidden in the back is great for engaging with others especially in the winter. Recently I met a large group of people there on the outside patio and much to my surprise Adam, the manager came out to see how everything was going. About 15 minutes later Isis the young joyful barista came out to do the same!! That was incredible care and service. I am already looking forward to my next Koffee Cafe` experience.

Stopped by here during a visit from Seattle and was happy I stumbled across it. The gentleman working was really kind and chatted with me about different places to visit while in town. Had a latte and a BLT and they were both delish. Loved the outdoor seating area, as it was a beautiful day outside. I sat for quite some time and he even asked if I needed anything else before he locked up. Wonderful customer service and tasty food/drink. Will make this a repeat visit if I make it back to town in the future.
