They sell overstock books, so the selection doesn’t change much, but you might find a cheap gem

I'm from the canton area but I stopped in here when we were in Cleveland for a weekend. I love coffee and books, but what really drew me into this place were the unique flavors on the chalkboard outside. I stepped out of my flavor comfort zone and tried a sweet rice vanilla latte. It was very good! If I lived in the area I would be here all the time, but now I know where I can make a quick coffee and/or book stop when I'm visiting the area!

Cute little place. I felt bad my kids were stomping through it.

Ever since it became a "coffee shop", the selection and amount of books available have become minimal at best. Gone are the multi book discounts. In are all the woke history and political texts. Not much here.

Discount books and amazing lattes! My drink was made to order based on my hesitation to try something new and it was delicious.

Very cute bookstore. We only came to browse and grab some tea, so we didn’t buy any books. The selection was interesting! I believe there was something for everyone. We had the shark week tea which was a nice blend. (4.5/5). A great spot to get some work done and be surrounded by the wonderful smell of paper, ink and coffee.

Interesting place. The city is doing construction out front so hard to find. The inside is very barebones with rough construction book shelves and random books on shelves for sale. Coffee is very good as are the baked goods. Some seating also available. With other options close by, this eccentric gem is a good choice among them

Obsessed with this spot. I had an iced mocha with oat milk which was delicious. The book selection was great and the prices were even better. We left with a box full of books. So happy we found this spot!

The coffee selection was fantastic with a knowledgeable barista eager to share her thoughts on coffee bean selection. There is a welcoming atmosphere with lots of seating and a fun selection of remainder-style books.

Index amazed me today. I was not expecting this experience. I thought it would be the average coffee shop, but to my surprise, there were books everywhere. I ordered a cinnamon spice latte. It was creamy and delicious. Easy to drink and to relax. The atmosphere is one of a kind. It was spacious and relaxing. I could sit there for hours. The staff was excellent; he talked to us about the store's history and how they remodeled it. I will return, and this will probably be my regular shop. Thanks for having me. Please leave a thumbs up if you find this helpful.

This is a sad book shop with a meager and strange selection. It once had stacks of books piled high with the prototypical bookshop cats sharking around them. When I asked where I might find some George Sand or David Foster Wallace, you'd have thought I asked the girl behind the counter if she could guess my weight and gender. She came out briefly from behind her coffee bar to point to a sparse area of "fiction" tucked into one small aisle of the store. Granted it is a small space attempting to cater to the varied customers who frequent Ohio City, but before I could ask another question the door bell went off and she couldn't have been happier to escape my questions to get back to the new customer looking for a cappuccino. There is an overabundance of children's books and mindless mysteries. To me, this implies that this coffee shop panders to the Starbucks moms and their brimming strollers that have wandered too far from their local watering hole to feel comfortable without something familiar nearby... like coffee and board books? But do not be confused. This is also not a refuge for those of us that enjoy the free wifi, sterile bathrooms, and warm, inviting seating space of a meticulously prescripted coffee shop, no. You will find that the sadness of a sterile book store and a sloppy coffee shop can be achieved and when it's done the way it has been here in the heart of Ohio City, you'll find that it's no longer the OC that you once claimed home. It's changed and new, which isn't always a bad thing, but this time it is, so you'll leave sadly with no new books, nor a coffee, because the girl is busy now steaming milk for lattés, and she's all alone here, so I'll never know if she was secretly hoping I left without asking any more questions about books or if she just didn't notice as I tripped the doorbell again just behind the crowd of two buying their afternoon javas while a singular stroller pusher perused the Janet Evanovich wall.
