Jax took care of us today and she is a very kind, helpful, funny person! The location makes me feel like I just walked through the doors of one of my dear friend's homes. Welcoming, warm and creative! The Gilbert Burger was tasty and filling. Most people enjoy a greasy burger... But when I am traveling that is a bad combination. This burger was lean, Angus beef and the veggies were so fresh. And I asked for fries and was surprised at the wait time until Jax said they were handcut and air-fried to order. We waited! We were all pleased with our food Lots of food for the eyes too. Art everywhere! Paintings, photographs, stringwork, wallhangings, books to borrow and return. An overall very joyful place. We are just passing through but cannot wait to stop back by on our next journey. The beverage choices are plentiful and also creative. Coffee - whatever your mind can think of she will make for you - delicious green teas - hot or cold - and Pepsi products. Save room for the desserts too or get them to go. Ice cream, giant cookies, cosmic brownies!!! And she'll even offer you a chocolate covered pickle! My only regret? I should've tried the chocolate covered pickle. Next time!

Had the gyro and it was unexpectedly good. Fresh crisp lettuce and good sauce. Gal that waited on me was friendly and a good server. Interesting atmosphere. I will definitely stop by again.
I wish I took pictures but the various vegan and vegetarian dishes were delicious. Sad they are not always available ( understandably as there are few vegans and vegetarians in the area). But Gilbert’s is the only local place I know I’ll be able to find something to eat and drink!!
Not open during posted hours. Stopped by at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Went out of my way to try this place, too.
Absolutely great environment, space, service and drinks. Definitely getting food the next time! Owner was absolutely enlightening and radiates positive energy! Can't wait to return.

We stopped here on our way to visit family in Monroeville Ohio. We enjoyed a lovely tea with ginger bubbles at the bottom and my husband and I both had something called the August burger which had a fried egg on it. It was very tasty. Also, the first time in a long time that I had a Kool-Aid pickle. The meal also came with a cookie but I didn't enjoy it very much because it tasted a bit stale. Aside from that, it was a lovely experience and the gal that ran the place was a joy. We would stop here again.

This place is delightful. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff are very friendly. Our group all tried different burgers w/fries and the food was all yummy. Looking forward to our next visit!
Gilbert's is the best! Jaxx is great to talk to and serves awesome drinks. My go-to is a white chocolate caramel frappe. Also, we had my sister's bridal shower there and it was amazing. It was during Covid so it was so nice to have room to spread out. The theme of the shower was "Friends" so everyone enjoyed their beverages in an adorable coffee house! Jaxx and Paisley went above and beyond to make the day so special. ❤️

Fantastic little coffee shop ! Stopped in and got a caramel latte and my daughter a muffin. Seemed a great spot to stop in quick or join a local group for lunch. Will be back for sure, Cheers.

Amazing small café. The service was great with a very friendly owner. The food was great with good prices on everything. We tried a BLT, Gilbert's burger, Peaches and Creme smoothie, Green tea with pomegranate boba, and took 3 different sweets to go. Would highly recommend whether you are local or traveling. Will be coming back to this place before we leave. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.
Probably one of the best burger places you will ever find.
