Known for their platter size pancakes. And I have to tell you they are enormous.
Service is awesome, food it great. I recommend this place. On big holidays, it can get busy, but they work it out for you to get seated.
Smoked Lox Quiche was phenominal! The breakfast platters are huge and had classic diner features. The atmosphere in this place is great. I especially loved meeting the muffin man!
quaint place...the covid protocols hurt the ambience but where doesn't it...server was quick and knew her stuff...I'll return..and return I have..this is my 5th time...Melayna or Mel my server was fantastic..as was Karen my previous visit..the food has been great on every visit..the only drawback..wait time..this has become my favorite spot..never a bad visit..all the people here are just outstanding.
Call 30 minutes before heading to the restaurant. Most of the time is crowded. Large menu, large portions, cozy decor. Happy faces. Delicious food. Fresh and strong coffee.
Such a great place to eat!!
***UPDATE***We returned today. It was disappointing. First, the person who always tells you what the wait time is. She is always short with customers ALWAYS. The person who seated us actually sounded afraid to seat us without asking her if it was okay. This person was up at the front helping her, the entire time. Our waitress, Malayna, whom I believe we have had before, was very nice, pleasant, like before. I was disappointed, first multiple tables were seated 10-20 minutes after us, they received their food before us. I had a skillet, hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, I did ask for it without onion, peppers, and tomatoes. I could lift my forkful up, and my husband could see the grease dripping. I truly was disappointed. Note the grease in the bowl.*** Great food. AMAZING staff. I understand the owners like to keep their staff happy. Happy staff, happy patrons! Cannot forget the Muffin Man!! He was as friendly as always.
The food was delicious! Definitely call ahead of a reservation as there was an hour and a half wait time when we stopped in.
I’ve been waiting to go here since I moved up north two years ago. And my husband and I finally headed out. We had a 30-40 minute wait time but when we got in we understood why! They let us know that they have a call ahead for their waitlist so you can get a head start) The atmosphere and food was soo good. Staff was fantastic. Seriously the pancakes are the size of a spare tire! I was shocked! The pancakes and waffles great. We also got the Biscoff latte🔥 we will be heading back. Can’t wait for the new and bigger location to open up. They deserve it. Well deserved indeed.
Tried The Blue Berry Cafe to go as there was an hour and half wait to eat inside so did carry out. It’s best to call ahead if you want to eat there for reservations. Did the Meatlovers Omelet with hash browns and toast. My review: The omelet and toast (homemade bread) were very good. I can not say this enough about potatoes. It’s not that hard to do fresh home fried potatoes The hash brown potato’s I got were barely cooked, just browned on the outside.
This is our first visit. The food and service are amazing!
Really good food, had to wait quite a while for a table but it was well worth it
I stoped here on a road trip and the food was great. There was 4 of us there and we were sat very quick they were also very nice when we asked to move seats which is good. I got the cowboy breakfast which was great there was whole pieces of sausage in the gravy. The biscuits were pretty small however still good. But the highlight was the service our waiter Pam was so nice and friendly. And she talked to us a-lot which was great we talked about our vacation and all that.
Had a great brunch here today. Did the call ahead seating. You must check in 30m after your phone call. We waited about 20 more minutes after that. Service was fantastic. Cianne [I think] took great care of us! The food was great. We both got platters and were so shocked and how BIG these were. Lol. Will be back!
Phenomenal GIANT pancakes!! Omelets are also very good! Small town service/vibe.
The food here is AMAZING. Bring a buddy cause you won't be able to eat it all.
I cant really rate them properly because my family and I were not able to be served. Entering the building, no one was there to greet us, the smell from the kitchen was aromatic, like French toast and syrup, after a few moments an employee walked up sternly and said "we're looking at an hour and fifteen minutes wait" and then just looked at us, being that it was 12:30, and the restaurant closes at 2, this seemed very unacceptable. My family and I are supposed to wait until 15 mins to closing and expect to receive quality service? I think not. Rather than argue, we said no thank you and left, drove down the street to Bob Evans, and we're seated and served immediately, the service was good, food was good, and promptly were home, all before we even would have been seated at this establishment.
Food and service was good. I gave the atmosphere a 3 because the walls and baseboards were dirty.
Five stars for a blueberry pancake that can feed five people! Huge portions, delicious and scrumptious. Fair prices and a wonderful friendly staff.
Great food, great service. Deffinatly worth trying if you have not been here.
