Nice little local coffee shop. Big menu, good coffee, okay staff. Apparently they like to sweep and mop a lot. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nice little local spot to check out. Their coffee is delicious and there's a nice seating area. My fiance got a sandwich and reeeeeeally thought it was good. Like more than someone should enjoy a normal sandwich.

A cup of "monthly special" coffee is $6.79. Other food and beverage prices raised 30-40%. Same dusty, tired food, decor and tchotchkes as 15 years ago. Enormous tip jar at register so you can reward ownership for not paying a living wage and the order taker for your $11 panini. Avon Lake swindle! Reply to owner's response: The sign in no way indicated expresso was used. I'm not familiar with expresso drinks, but Starbucks' largest sized and most expensive Pumpkin Spice Latte is $5.95, not $6.79. Your current price for a small plain black coffee is $2.49. It was $1.50. Your current price for small expresso latte was $2.99. It is now $4.16. A medium mocha was $3.99 and is now $6.05! The previous price for a panini was $6.79 and it's now $10.80. Egg and cheese sandwich was $2.99; it's now $4.85. Omelet Rio was $5.69; it's now $9.27. PPJ sandwich for kids was $2.99; it's now $4.64. That's a heck of a lot more than an 11% increase according to the way I was taught math. Why are prices not listed on your web site? I got them from a menu I had at home because I used to order at Rio so frequently (horrible person that I am). I'm fully aware of the genesis of the term tip and frankly, that doesn't add up either. I waited over 10 minutes for a turkey sandwich that was not toasted and not placed on "our special nine grain bread" as I was told it would be and as the menu states. I watched the maker take bread out of a loaf of the same inexpensive brand I buy up the street at Giant Eagle. I tipped anyway. How about you quit lying about how you didn't pass on 40% price increases to customers, stop bullying altogether and cease character assassinations of people who make honest observations? It's not a good look for a business owner and community leader. After I left your place I walked over to Drug Mart and saw a great looking sub sandwich for $3.85. I guess this horrible Avon Lake person will be getting sandwiches there in the future. #unhingedowner #itsaboutthepricesstup

The food and drinks were okay but were nothing special. The customer service was fine but not stellar. There was a worker who was sweeping and mopping basically under our feet while we were eating and talking. This was rather rude and made us uncomfortable. I actually saw him make other customers get out of their seats so he could mop under their chairs- again this is very rude. Maybe just wait to clean until your customers have finished in that space.

Lovely coffee bar, though the last two times I’ve gone it has been closed earlier than posted hours — around 3 PM. Please update your google maps hours if this is a permanent change! And please make it known in maps if it is temporary.

I love this place for lunch or a breakfast sandwich. When I'm in town I always stop. The drive thru is convenient.

I’ve frequented Rio for over 15 years, I have never been disappointed. Any time I’m in the area, I’ll stop for lunch or a coffee. The Rio Beef, one of my favorite sandwiches anywhere, tastes just as good today as it did all those years ago. Great family owned business, and a great staff. If you want good coffee, food and service, there’s no place I’d rather go.

Staff is great! Very helpful with coffee selections (bulk beans to grind) and the menu. Glad this place is close to us.
