Beautiful family cafe. We all felt at home when we walked in the door, the service was amazing fast and friendly. The food was beyond awesome. A hole in the wall, a must stop. Special coffee or regular coffee, teas and sodas. Wine and beer for a afternoon meal. Breakfast and lunch was amazing. Burgers hashbrowns, grilled cheese, ruben and pie. Will be going back anytime we are in the area.
We were there for an hour and never got our food. We ordered an omelette and bacon and eggs. After 30 minutes, the waitress told us she mistakenly didn’t put the order in. Then, the waitress kept telling us the food was coming, but other diners who had gotten there after us kept getting their food. Finally, she said “it’ll be another 15 minutes,” so we just left. I suspect other patrons have enjoyed good meals there, but left hungry and miffed. We should’ve gone to Dakota Farms.
To make a burger when 4 people are in the restaurant took 35 min, really really slow kitchen.
Very good food, fair prices, nice atmosphere. if the service was good this place would be 5 stars.
Great food and service
Our family of 5 stopped here on a road trip after seeing the center of America marker. Coming from Georgia, we figured this would be a nice place to grab a bite to eat before exploring the rest of North Dakota and all its beauty. The BLT which I had was delicious, and we also had some delicious authentic North Dakotan tacos complete with salsa sauce. The lady here whose name I dont remember was very friendly and genuine, and the atmosphere was very relaxed and homey feeling. Great place, would recommend if you find yourself in North-central ND!

Talk about a shocker! Quiet little cafe with BIG eats. I've been here a couple of times and doesnt disappoint. The food is delicious with so much selection and fast fast to the table. Stop by here for sure.
A cup of coffee and a piece of coconut pie and you're good to drive another few hours!
Great place to eat. Had a Denver Omlette and was the best one I've had in a long time. It was clean and great service I highly recommend this place.

The Cottage is a wonderful place to meet friends for lunch. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm and comfortable. The food is delicious and the waitress was personable and provided great customer service. I will definitely go back.
For a small town restaurant the omelettes where good. Rye bread was delicious. Wait staff was on point.
