Really busy place that offers waffles and drinks. The vanilla latte was awesome. Go early on the weekends!

When I travel to the Bismarck/Mandan area. I love the food at Copper Dog. Always new gluten-free items and good service!

Best Experience and food was good. Don't get the chicken strips. Don't order chicken and waffles..

Cute little place on Main in Mandan. Waffles were good and the staff was really friendly! I have a suggestion: napkins on the tables- the waffles were a bit messy.

I always have a good experience when I come here the staff is very nice and work well under pressure. But today was my first negative experience, I usually go on my only day off with my husband and order my usual waffle and coffee ☕. I've never been served by the manager until today. The shop was empty and I was excited to order my food I placed my waffle order then placed my usual coffee order ( keep in mind the menu says any extra toppings are a extra fee ) I asked for my coffee and told the lady my toppings she responded " that's a seasonal thing we don't make it any more". I said oh I know I just want to add the topping and I knew I had to pay for it and I always do and the staff is kind enough to make it for me. But what really got me upset was when she said " we the don't do that and the staff is just trying to be nice to you and its harming the business because we have to sell it and charge for each one and the owners don't like it" with a sasy attitude. the menu says extra fee for extra toppings why would that be there if they wouldn't want you to purchase add ons? I thought 🤔 I just looked frustrated and looked at my husband and he said let's go so I did, as I walked out she didint apologize or wish me a good day all she did was void my transaction and rip the receipt. I still wanted coffee so I went around the corner to another coffee shop the girl was super nice to us and we ended up having a good time elsewhere. I have never felt so little or so out of place in copper dog but i did and I felt so embarrassed by how she treated me.

Always great food and coffee! Expect it to be busy and a little bit of a wait on the weekends.

Had too try this place out! I am not usually a fan of Waffles or Pancakes, but once I had heard bout thus place, I knew I wanted too tey for breakfast someday...so glad today was that day! I had the Rookie, which is basically a deluxe Omellete in a Waffle! -SO DELISH! Also tried the Buscuits n Gravy, which was good as well, perfect Buscuit Taste to waffle with a good Sausage Gravy topping! ...both Excellent!! will be back to try others!!

So delicious and unique to this area! ❤️ They have coupons but in tiny, fine print found out they only accept them Monday-Friday which doesn’t work because my kids are in school and I have to work. They accepted the coupons the first time I used it in December on a weekend and today they refused and told me to read the bottom of the coupon.

They need to hire on more staff! I came in today (2/8/23) around 11am and there was only one girl running the entire place. The poor girl had about 10 orders that she was taking care of all on her own. If the owners can't find staff then they need to be in there working as well, not leave the running of the entire place to one hourly employee. This is not how you run a business!

Went on a Sunday morning, very very busy but even with that, 30 minutes to make waffles is a bit long. Soooooo yummy though!!! Will definitely go next time I'm back!

Such a cute place!! The waffles and coffee are delicious! I love the toy area for kids. My 2 year old was able to safely play with the toys while I conversed with a friend nearby. There is also a "mini gym" (gymnastics type equipment) that my daughter really enjoyed! Would definitely recommend and will be back soon!!

Waffles are a B and coffee is a C-. After you order expect to wait up to 30 min for food if there is any crowd. Staff are friendly and work very hard. Seating and parking are good.

Waffles were light and fluffy. Great toppings that weren't too sweet like some other breakfast places are. Good coffee and chai tea. Definitely planning to stop back when we're in town.

Stopped here for Sunday brunch while visiting my sister and brother-in-law and really enjoyed the stop. We started with coffees and found them every bit as good as the big names stores. My wife ordered the Chicken and Waffles (see picture) and it was delicious. I ordered the Rookie (see picture) and loved the infused ham, potatoes and cheese. It was getting busy by the time we left, so if you go...get there early or plan to wait. I accidentally had the best Waffle in my life ! Was staying in Mandan, and happened across the Copper Dog on Main street. Casual atmosphere, very friendly staff, and the waffles are insane! I had a waffle made from cinnamon roll dough, with cinnamon icing, whipped cream and cinnamon sprinkled on it. I gained 10 pounds that morning, but it was worth every bite.. Many unique waffle options. Eat here if you can...!

Cute little breakfast place! So many fun options for waffles and coffee! Great little play area for kids. The outdoor area also rocks. I wish I would have discovered it before fall.
