Delicious desserts!!! They have a cute little sitting area where we were able enjoy our coffee and great desserts! Only downfall was I didn’t have the stomach to try all the beautiful desserts.
Nichole’s is the best of both worlds; amazing food and baked goods paired with exceptional above-and-beyond customer service! Due to a miscommunication, our company didn’t pick up a platter of baked goods on Saturday that we needed for a meeting early Monday morning (they are closed on Sunday). The owner herself reached out to check in and then made herself available for us to get the platter, which looked perfect and exactly like the photos on their website. When we got it, I noticed that our special request for their fabulous lemon bars had been granted! We are so grateful to have this amazing small business in our community. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I purchased a variety of desserts to celebrate my mothers 85th birthday. Everything was delicious with the exception of the pie crust on the coconut cream pie. The crust was really underbaked, without flake and somewhat bland. Was disappointed as everything else was baked to perfection.
Honestly, I’m absolutely appalled I spent $75 on a cake and an order of petit fours. This was the most disgusting cake I have ever attempted to eat. Although it very aesthetically pleasing, the cake and frosting was dehydrated and crumbled when cut, and tasted like the inside of a damp fridge. It was against my better judgement to order from here to begin with, and this experience only confirmed that suspicion. I’m not sure if y’all have a satisfaction guarantee, but I’d love to bring this cake bake for a refund.
We’ve been coming to Nichole’s since it opened. The chocolate ganache cake and the cookies are very delicious. However, the online ordering portal is not reliable. We recently ordered cakes for a holiday event, but there was no record of the order when I arrived to pick up. It is also very difficult to get a hold of customer service by phone. We love the baked goods, but we’re very disappointed with the service.
I believe they are more known for the pastry side of things but I used to work near here so I did take out for lunch quite often and it was always very good. I'm not a vegetarian but they had a very good black bean burger.
Delicious pastries and cakes. We have picked up cakes for special occasions and often stop for pastries when in Fargo.
Good pastries, good coffee. Didn't try the lunch menu. It has an eclectic atmosphere. It is clean. Fun Saturday afternoon
Reprehensible customer service. I ordered a cappuccino and the “server”forgot it the next minute. (They weren’t that busy.). Had to step up to the counter and remind him. Aside from the regret of initially walking into this establishment is that I added a tip to the total for my beverage and pastries. But then, that was in the belief that customer service would be up to par. Upon receiving my coffee, there was no sincerity in the tone of the said server; just the perfunctory, “Enjoy.” Obviously, this is a place where only the hip, the chic, intellectual types are welcome. I was regarded by the employees as being out of place; in other words, I didn’t belong there. Blue collar types, beware! What was going to be an evening out was partly ruined by Nichole’s. Try one of the other cafes or coffee shops in town and spare yourself the insult, and the lousy quality of their offerings.
Delectable treats! This place is a must visit if you’re down town! Not too pricey either ;)
Nichole's has, hands down, the best pastries and baked goods of any café we've been to in Fargo / Moorhead. We are sure to bring any visiting out-of-town friends to Nichole's and the food is always a hit. The interior of the café is calm and artful, giving it a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.
Great food and friendly service! The bacon cheese croissant and fruit tart i had were delicious.
So unprofessional. They baked large cupcakes instead of mini cupcakes. Also, we ordered 350 cupcakes, and they only gave us 250 while still making us pay full price. The icing on top of the cupcake, they forgot the grad’s favorite flavor. If I could rate them 0 stars, I would. P.S. hated the employee’s attitude.
Gorgeous cake and delicious cupcakes (coming from a girl who doesn't usually prefer cakes) for our wedding with many flavor combinations. Nichole provided delivery & setup as well (all while dealing with a power outage and her café) and let us rent things for display. Highly recommend. pc: Olivia Alnes
I ordered the watercolor cake. What I ordered and what I received were 2 different cakes, and the icing was partially damaged, I was careful to transport it home with care so I know the damage was not from my end, I should have opened the lid when it was handed to me to ensure that there were no issues. While the cake was good, it would have been nice to receive the cake I ordered as a theme was built around the cake.
Great options, the desserts are always fantastic. Highly recommend the fuellertine cake or the lemon tart.
Nichole’s Fine Pastry made us an absolutely stunning cake for our wedding. Not only was it gorgeous to look at it tasted outstanding as well! If you don’t like fondant I recommend you try Nichole’s fondant because you may just change your mind. We had about 200 guests at our wedding and we were easily able to feed all our guests with a 4 tier cake and 2 sheet cakes. The Zebra cake was delicious, but the red velvet and strawberry cakes were phenomenal! I highly recommend Nichole’s Fine Pastry for wedding cakes!
It's a lovely place with a nice, warm environment. We had the broccoli and cheddar soup, and it was smooth, filling, and yummy. We also got a mini cake, and it was amazing! The staff was also very nice and friendly.
We visited for the first time today. Everything was delicious, staff was friendly and the place is super well kept. Definitely recommended!
If you live in Fargo/Moorehead area, and you haven't been, GO. The BEST!!! I had the roasted veggie sandwich! And bought an assortment of pastries to take home and share! Wonderful!!! It's a gem!!! Very curteous and helpful staff!
