Big City vibe small town coffee shop. Inside is modern and clean …oh they serve wine. Good spot for either.
Had a great cappuccino today. Shout out to the barista; that foam was perfect. I cant believe I drove by this place so many times, settling for bad coffee elsewhere. Lesson learned! I now have a new favorite coffee shop in town. Thanks again, see you soon! 💕
Not your typical coffee shop. I love the ambiance, coffee, and service. The perfect place to come sit down and read a book or enjoy a conversation with a good friend. It's refreshing not to walk into a "cafeteria" style place with 30 people on their computers occupying all tables, but instead to a lounge space with great sitting and a relaxing environment. 110% recommended (try the tiramisu coffee, or get a glass of wine)
You need to stop at Melrose for good drinks, good food and an awesome vibe! My wife and I came by while leaving town and loved it. The owner walked us through the menu and helped us decide what to get. Wife had the Blueberry Lavender Latte while I had a Hot Chocolate. Wife said her latte was great and different from anything she’d ever had. For food I had the Gobbler while she had a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Everything was awesome and the owner even chatted with us while we sat and enjoyed our breakfast. Highly recommend and thank you for a great experience!
I got the signature Vanilla Cinnamon Dolce and the Nutella pastry. My items were delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming. It gives the feel of sit and stay a while.

I can never get enough blueberry lavender lattes from Melrose. I've been coming here since they first opened and I tell everyone about the great lattes and atmosphere. I hosted the grand opening of my salon here. Nevin and the whole team made sure everyone had a great time and the space was beautiful. Anytime I have friends visiting from out of town I bring them to Melrose so they can experience everything Melrose has to offer.
Lovely decor, staff and ambiance. We got a chocolate croissant, the vanilla rose latte and Ferrero rocher latte (both iced). We will have to come back to try the matcha latte, dalgona coffee and tiramisu latte! The place is kind of hidden, but near a very busy area of Winston in my opinion. Great place to study, as it was quiet. The couches were very comfortable too, so that was nice.

I love Melrose Cafe. I’m usually there 2-3 times a week! The coffee, aesthetics, and vibes are always top tier! Definitely my favorite spot to get coffee!
LOVE the atmosphere of Melrose. I celebrates my 29th birthday and we were served wine and hors d’oeuvres. They have a wide selection of coffee and teas. I love the chill/sophisticated Cali vibes they brought to NC. What’s even better, is it’s privately owned by people who have the heart and work ethic as we true North Carolinas’ know so well. The owners have worked so hard to make Melrose more available here in NC because it has quickly been favorited by so many! I look forward to continuing to see them grow and enjoy great coffee!
I recently visited Melrose Coffee and was blown away by the quality of their coffee and the exceptional service provided by their staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable baristas who helped me choose the perfect drink. The shop itself was cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and a great atmosphere. The coffee was absolutely delicious - rich, flavorful, and expertly brewed. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this coffee shop and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a welcoming environment. Five stars!
Melrose Coffee & Wine Lounge is THE place to go to for great coffee, conversation, and to just chill. I have a favorite area I love to sit in and enjoy my view while catching up on emails or chats with good friends. The music playlist adds to my enjoyment. I love the owners and team. I keep wanting it to be better but it just isn’t. Tried the coffee once and it tasted burnt. Tried a matcha and it didn’t seem like it was whisked enough and all the powder was gathered at the bottom of the cup. Had a cookie sandwich thing with frosting in between and the cookies seemed overcooked. Tbh I think they focus a lot on aesthetics and not enough on quality.
Great space, the vibe with music and ambiance is unbeatable. I got the pistachio latte with almond milk and it was delicious. Would definitely come back anytime I am in Winston-Salem. Their pastries are from Camino or Cheesecake by Alex. Last thing, service was amazing, you can feel the welcoming environment and that’s the most important part for me!
Love this place! It’s cute, clean and the people there are so nice! They have some unique coffee flavors which you don’t get everywhere if that’s your thing. But even their basic coffees are great! Really good bakery selection too! They also have a great reward system!
Wooowww you got to come here and try their lattes. Very nice place to just chill and chit chat. Service: 11/10 (super nice. Explained different flavors of latte)
