Cute little shop tucked inside a small market. Staff were extremely friendly and inviting. The drinks were made to order without issue and the pastries were amazing. We stopped off after 4hrs in the car with the minions to stretch our legs and stumbled upon the coffee shop. So glad we found it.
This place is my favorite coffee shop in all of Winston Salem! I love the coffee (flavors changes seasonally), the food, and the people working here. And it’s situated in a nice area to take a walk in, if you don’t want to hang out in the cozy atmosphere of the store itself.
It’s great to see ByGood Coffee holding its own against stiff competition downtown. The owners / staff are charming, the right-size small cappuccino is very respectable and they’ve steadily added eats. Now they’ve vastly improved their outdoor patio on Marshall St, with protection from the hot sun, flowers and soon-to-arrive new seating. Definitely worth visiting.
Everything we get from ByGood is amazing. We own/operate a small coffee shop in Western NC and whenever we’re in or near Winston we come here! I don’t know many shops that roast their own beans anywhere as good as these folks. Great people and atmosphere too!
All we had was a coffee and a latte. I was not expecting such amazing coffee. Wow!
HIGH quality, perfectly prepared, honestly the best tasting coffee I’ve had in NC. I got an iced vanilla latte and my brother got an iced honey cinnamon (I think?) latte. Both were excellent, and we’ll definitely be coming here more often.
I've tried Chai lattes from about 10 places in Winston and this is by far the best one I've had!!
The owner was working the counter and she was so friendly! I love that they make everything in house, even their own tea blends! The environment was calm and welcoming, definitely a nice place to catch up on work !
I always have the best experience grabbing morning coffee here! Coffee is excellent and lots of options - I suggest trying the barista specials. Staff is welcoming and the environment is perfect for solo or meeting a friend for coffee! Update: Still my favorite place for morning coffee in downtown Winston! Love all the amazing options, the service, and the laid back atmosphere.
I was visiting Winston Salem and stopped in to BYGood coffee based on the amazing reviews it had. The coffee was amazing and the staff were so nice. Definitely recommend! The homemade vanilla bean syrup is amazing!
The absolute best! The owners and employees are the kindest and most helpful people ever! They are very caring and attention to detail! The treats are fantastic and the drinks are out of this world! The tea and coffee drinks are all absolutely delicious and so customizable! Today I wanted to try something by experimenting and they embraced my idea to give it a try and made sure it was to my liking. Could not ask for better people or coffee! The shop is so chill and cozy too! Love the local artists work too! Great and relaxing vibe. Been back and will be coming back often!

Very lively but also quiet place. Good for studying, gathering, or just enjoying a nice cup of coffee. Various selections of coffee beans which are freshly roasted here.
Usually with coffee, I take a few sips to savor the taste but then add vanilla creamer because I like that taste too but also want to balance the acidity. Every time I've gotten coffee from ByGood, I end up drinking the whole thing without creamer! I asked the owners (Darryl and Abbey) about it and they said they select low acidity coffees. And they roast it right there; you see the roasting machine as you walk in. My adult son and I love to meet up for coffee at ByGood!
