Incredible coffee shop here in Waxhaw. The staff is always smiling and enjoyable to be around. Great coffee, and there are several different locations to set yourself up at if you intend on staying. Yes, there's wifi.

This is the best place I’ve ever been to. The best customer service ever! When I walked in, they said hello to me, and asked what they could get for me?? They are so kind. Then they made my drink exactly how I asked for it and gave it to me?? I’m amazed at how kind the baristas are. The customer service is out of this world. Will definitely be coming to this place again.

Double espresso... Horrible... Basically quarter cup of brewed coffee.

Such friendly service, more than willing to answer question. I was impressed with the coffee selection you could buy and all the little, unique things inside. While you wait for your coffee, take a look around. There is outside seating that we enjoyed after we got our coffee. We were able to sit in the rocking chairs and talk out front, but there will be heavier traffic as it is close to the main road. Beware if you have trouble walking as there are uneven levels of terrain you have to walk on and then a few steps up to get inside.

I cant believe i havent reviewed Crossroads yet. My wife and i have sourced our beans from many places around Atlanta, and in our travels. Crossroads has the absolute best we have found thus far. We intentionally go out of our way every few months to swing by for 1-2 lbs. I cant recommend this place enough. Fantastic flavors. Massive variety. Excellent prices. And fast and friendly customer service. Cons: Parking is always available, but it sucks due to location and traffic. But not enough to lose a star. I'd rate this place a 4.8 to 4.9 stars in total. Our personal favorite blend: "Chocolate Raspberry Truffle" and "Toasted Coconut" Flavored blend to improve: "Blueberry Crumble"... it smells amazing. But the flavor is nearly absent.

Good stuff. Love the rustic old fashioned artsy vibe in the place. Not generic or standardized like Starbucks or Dunkin garbage. Wish more coffee ☕ shops had this kind of unique character.

Coffee is usually pretty good and I like the feel of the place. I didn’t want to give this place a bad review but it really does need to be addressed because it has consistently been an issue. One of the shifts the employees will not stop talking. The chatter is literally non-stop and it completely ruins the atmosphere and makes it difficult to study. I don’t wanna sound picky, I don’t mind talking but my goodness, it is *constant*.

I took an out-of-town friend and her family here. She loves all of the coffee beans selection, and her kid enjoys drawing on the sketch book in the corner and trying on the rocking chair. I ordered mocha berry latte, and the little boy had a chocolate muffin 😋

Craft coffee and local crafts in a cozy coffee shop in The Haw. They've got beans on beans on beans. Light, dark and everything in between. The food selection is not as vast as the coffee but you're here to sip not to chew so order a latte and in one of the coziest coffee shops in The Haw.

Whenever me and my friends want to get away from commercial coffee place like Dunking and Starbucks, we come to Crossroads. It has the best atmosphere for early morning chats or working during the midafternoon. I love the decorations and wooded interior of this coffee shop. Crossroads captures the local experience in Waxhaw perfectly. It is refreshing to sit down, sip on a cup of coffee and enjoy the old town vibes. The coffee here is not overpriced for the quality of coffee you are getting. The coffee is a bit strong for my taste, and that is why I don't come often but for this exact reason the coffee shop attracts a lot of customers. Many like the authentic taste of coffee that is lost within chain companies. When you want to get away from working at home this shop is a great place to do work. Every time I come here there are people working on their computers, partaking in business calls and sitting in on meetings. Whether you live in the town of Waxhaw or you are just visiting the Crossroads Coffee House is a local gem that is the best way to start your morning in this town.

I've really had to ponder on posting this review here because I feel like it needs to be addressed but I wasn't sure how to in the beginning. back in August I applied for a position at the shop and was brought in for an interview. I had arrived about 10 minutes early and saw that the interview that was scheduled before me was still being conducted. the hiring manager was very thorough with them - walking them around the store, giving them the rundown of everything, so much so that it even bled into my interview time by roughly 10 minutes. then it was my turn for an interview and I was essentially brought into the back room, was given a rough explanation of how the shop was run and what I'd be doing, and then was asked if I had any questions, which I did, but I had very few lined up so the interview lasted maybe 5 to 7 minutes at most. needless to say I didn't have a very great feeling about that interview and felt like my potential was extremely overlooked because she had made her mind up about hiring the two she interviewed before me before she even began my interview. it would've been a lot less insulting had she just come out of the back room and said "hey, I've already made up my mind, sorry for wasting your time, you can go home" instead of trying to sloppily go through the motions with me. I don't know if the motive fell under discrimination, just an overall lack of interest in me due to how i presented myself, or what it was. overall just extremely unprofessional and I think I dodged a major bullet by essentially getting looked over by the hiring manager. this really hurts because I've loved coming to this spot for the longest time. it's been a safe haven for me and to just feel so blatantly disrespected by one of the main pillars of the shop just puts a bad taste in my mouth that I can't ignore. extremely disappointing. please do better for future potential employees, as they're some of your most frequent customers.

honestly this place has one of the best atmospheres in downtown Waxhaw. most of the staff are usually pretty kind and the coffee/sweets are priced fairly. the inconsistency of how the same drink tastes throughout the week really bothers me though. I'll go in on a Monday and order a mocha frost that's nice and sweet, then I'll go in on a Saturday and it'll taste bland and much less flavorful. overall I love this place, but the inconsistencies need to be addressed.
