Arrived last night here a little after 9PM and was disappointed, as we expected more. The books were quite limited with a small collection. The coffee bar was closed. The majority of the shop catered to middle-age women in somewhat of the boho vibe. From the description we expected more books and things to cater to all ages and groups. I had really wanted to purchase a smoothie but the coffee bar was closed. The wine bar was open and there was live music outside, but the store wasn’t what we thought or hoped it would be. Nothing of interest there for us… just cards, a few books, purchases, and jewelry.
This place is a gem. They don’t make ‘em like this anymore. Everything from the staff to the experience.
Live music on some evenings. Coffee was okay - not the best or the worst. Bought two decent bottles of wine ($24 & $18) that were outrageously expensive, but that's the price one pays for not stopping at the grocery store on the way in to the south end of Topsail Island. Last time I was there, they had a large collection of earrings at reasonable prices. This trip the selection was very limited, but it is off-season so perhaps they haven't stocked up yet for high season.
This is always on my "must stop" place when I am at the beach.
Wonderful little book store with a little bit of everything, great coffee, and staff is super nice! Definitely want to come back one evening for some wine or beer.

This place is such a gem! Books, gifts, coffee, live music...wine! Everyone is delightful, from the owner to the supporting staff. The wines are delightful. They offer something for every mood and palate. On the off chance you're having too much fun and you leave your phone behind, don't fret...they will get it back to you (wink). Great little shop. We went on Saturday and they had live music. It was really good! Nice little book store and lots of places to sit inside and out. Unfortunately the espresso machine was broke and we don't drink (They have a wine bar.) so the selection was limited for us. But the lady heated up water for tea so that was nice. Seemed like a mix of locals and tourists, which is what we are. We would definitely visit again.
Always a great place to shop for that unique gift. I love going in here and browsing. And when I can’t figure out what to get as a gift for a friend, I just get a gift certificate!
Nice shopping and bookstore on south end of Topsail Island in Topsail Beach. Snack bar with pastries and smoothies. Wine bar with nice selections and knowledgeable staff and a cooler full of craft beers. On weekends, there's live music outdoors; sit with friends, meet some new ones, sip some wine, maybe even dance a little. Call or check their signage out front to see what's scheduled for the week.
