Amazing coffee shop! So cute! Room to sit outside on the porch, and cozy places inside. Coffee taste amazing! Smooth and bold! personally I think it’s the best around! Good to know it’s cash or check only

First time coming here while in town. I liked the location and atmosphere, very relaxing and they have both indoor/outdoor seating. The drip coffee tasted good (although the drip I got was not hot or fresh) and they have a well-priced menu, with tasty fresh baked goods.

My favorite coffee spot. They roast their own beans and the result is the best tasting coffee and espresso drinks in the Pines. Their beans also have more than the usual amount of caffeine, which is awesome in my book. They only take cash or check, so plan ahead. It's worth the effort if you're a serious coffee drinker like I am. There is also a really peaceful ambiance about the location that makes you want to sit down and enjoy the day. If the weather is cooperating, stay and enjoy your coffee in the outside seating area.

I spent my afternoon at Java Bean, it is the perfect study spot! Wifi is great, coffee is delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy. The staff were gracious and friendly.

I grew up in the area, and the first place I go every visit back (even before seeing my parents!) is Java Bean. The coffee is always delicious.
Tried a few coffee shops in the area and would say this was my favorite in Southern Pines the owner is nice and the baristas are good at remembering faces if you are a regular.
Love the nice cozy atmosphere and friendly staffing. Coffee ☕ was good and satisfying to the palate. Will go back again for sure.
