Always consistent good southern style food. Daily specials shown on a board as well as breakfast served all day. Love their turkey & dressing on Fridays.

Food tasted good but arrived like 2 min after we ordered implying it was premade. Hush puppies and fried okra were both cold and the country style steak was Luke warm probably only get earth from the hot gravy. Shame really because it really could have been great !!!

First time in for us. Not too crowded. Service was prompt and courteous. This is not a gourmet restaurant, but is a nice cafe with really good comfort food and affordable prices. Will not be the last time in for us by any means. Looking forward to having breakfast there soon. Try it out.

Don't let the name fool you. Atmosphere, music & personality of employees is welcoming. The coffee is brewed well, it's aromatic. Breakfast dishes are more than delicious & lunches are filling. Dinners are ok. Either way just come on in & enjoy.

We have been going here for awhile, and it’s a great little spot. We always get breakfast and it’s great. My wife loves the omelette and me the kids devour the tenderloin biscuits. And to mention Cheerwine on tap. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Could not ask for a better local breakfast spot.

We have been here several times and each time we have left overfilled and happy with our visit. It is down-home cooking with a variety of foods from breakfast all day to traditional home style meals. When you enter, find a seat wherever you want and be prepared to enjoy yourself. The workers are nice and they have always wanted to please and they work hard to make your meal the way you want it.

The onion pettels were very greacy, with a pool of oil on the plate. The flavor was bland with the onion being sliced thin like shoe string fries. Ch burger was nothing special for the price.

We enjoyed our food and the service was excellent! I loved my cheeseburger and fries. And my daughter said her sausage patties were the best she's ever had (and she's a picky eater, so that is saying a lot!) The food came out very quickly. And our server was probably the sweetest most attentive server we've ever had anywhere, I only wish I had gotten her name.

Was an emergency call in lot next to business and the owner got if police fire and EMS faces saying to get off her property. When asked if a human life was less important than her business she said yes. Stated that it was hurting business but there were no lights flashing or parking taken. Very sad human

Hadn't been in years. Food was great. Just as I remembered. My grandmother used to take me there every Tuesday morning before she went to work at Maplewood Nursing Center. She was a beautician & during the summer and days off from school I helped her get the residents to the salon.
