LOVE THIS PLACE! I try to go on every visit to Oriental. They have an extensive menu to please everyone that walks thru their doors. I've thoroughly enjoying everything I've chosen. Don't miss the specials boards near the front door. Outdoor seating is protected so even if the weather isn't perfect, your visit and meal will be! Don't wait to try for yourself!
M&M's is in my opinion one of the best places to eat at in Oriental! The staff is on point with their service and they always serve with a smile. The food is great and it was served hot, fresh & fast. The porch is a fantastic place to sit and enjoy dinner and a drink. You can't go wrong here folks. Inside is great too. It's a cozy friendly place to go and have a good time.
Great setting; delicious lunch
Great restaurant. Location is perfect for a stroll by the river after dinner. Staff is professional, friendly and work very hard to please. Food is very good. What can I say - come, eat and be merry!
This delightful place in this tiny town, the sailing capital of North Carolina, is nestled on "Water" street, just next to the harbor. Good food at reasonable prices, and excellent service. Quite a pleasant surprising find, and oh, so very much better than any of the fast food places.
Our first visit..... We walked in, after standing there for a few mins. We were handed menus & told to sit where we wanted. We did. It took awhile for a server to ck. On us. I ordered tea $2.50. Never got a refill, never cked, was never ask! I ordered lunch special, , soft shell crab on bun. Way over cooked! You could say that it was a thick slice of tomato with a little crispy crunch. ( no kidding) Husband got shrimp basket. They were cooked so long they were very "chewy". It took awhile to get our food. My husband got silverware and 2.. yes... 2 napkins. I'm not kidding!!! Our slow moving waitress showed up to see if we wanted dessert once we pushed our plates to the side. We had to ask for ck./ bill. I watched her fill it out. Then she stopped to have a chat before brining it to us. Meanwhile the 2 other waitresses were husseling by us. Needles to say...... STAY AWAY. COST-$44.00 + No refills. No service Overcooked food

I ordered sushi and my friend ordered salmon. Her food came out in about 15 minutes. I waited over an hour and was highly disappointed that my food and her food didn't come out at the same time. We waited over an hour and then they said that the tickets were messed up and then they were out of rice. I noticed that the people at the bar had sushi orders before my order and they were obviously favored over everyone. The service was very poor and we were hardly looked upon. I was irate and went to another restaurant that had excellent food and service.
Everything was delicious. Our table had hamburger vegetable soup, fried shrimp, shrimp sandwich and a side salad.
Good food, I do recommend just for the flavors but the service was bad. No drink refills. They forgot half the sides and took 45 minutes after the food was served for them to come out.
We always go here when we visit our family in Oriental. It is our favorite in the area

Long day on the water and a perfect dinner to relax and enjoy Oriental ambiance. Food was abundant and reasonable price. Very definitely recommend.
This is one of our favorite lunch places. The staff are friendly, the food is great.
Food was , at best average. Had grilled shrimp, grilled cheese sandwich, fried fish (white fish?) and a burger. $104.00 Basic bar with a fryer type cuisine. Great waitress.
We had the flounder with sweet potato fries. Even though it was fried, the batter was light and you couldn't taste the oil on the flounder or the fries. We sat out on the screened porch and enjoyed the fresh air and the food. Service was great too!
This is a favorite place of ours to visit when we go to Oriental. It just feels right, food tastes good, and friendly staff. Just go, sit outside, enjoy the salt air and a good meal.
Nice hometown feel. Large variety of menu items. Food is good.
