Ok its really good but I paid NINE dollars for this “large” latte. The people were really nice but the price really killed the vibe. Just not worth the money in my opinion.
This place is a hidden gem. Board games and amazing sandwiches for a brunch date! Hell yes. People are super friendly, share tables and space to make it a perfect spot to unwind. Definitely coming back again. Try the Beef and Egg sandwich. Its so yum!
It was okay but just seemed to miss the mark. Breakfast sandwiches (bacon/egg/cheese) are assumed to be served warm, but all was cold. The oatmeal lacked flavor, and the waffle was served with very cold unsalted butter. Waffle itself was tasty. Latte was supposed to be white chocolate and blackberry but neither flavor was present. A second was ordered with the same results to confirm it wasn't simply a mix-up. Overall great potential but I wish I could say better. The menu is large but would rather them perfect a few items than fall short on several.
Great cafe! Quite, taste dishes and the coffee is great! The wifi is slllllooooowww but the a atmosphere and food makes up for it.
Unfortunately this place is a NO for me due to terrible wifi. Could not stream any youtube vdos. Hardly completed my work due to the slow network. Cafe is good, staff is good but internet is from the previous century
I couldn’t recommend coming here to play board games because it cost $10 for two people to play. I also couldn’t recommend getting food or drink at this location because they were out of everything we wanted. Plus, the menus for ordering are at the register, which is kind of too late to decide what you want. If you can help it, go elsewhere.
Always love going here, such an amazing place to just chill and play games woth friends or just go for a calm environment to do work
Had a strange experinece here service- wise. There was no one at the counter for a few minutes and the device to order was facing out towards the customer side of the counter, so we assumed it was a self-service ordering device. No one had come to take our order for a few minutes, so we put in our order, paid and tipped, then my boyfriend got scolded for putting our order in. This was our first and probably last time here, as we felt put off by this interaction/miscommunication. It would be helpful to put a sign on the kiosk facing the customers to not put in their own orders in, or maybe don't leave the order terminal facing customers when there is no employee to operate it.
I love the Americano here. And couple of bakery items I got was also good. They are very friendly and this place has an option to rent and play some board games. If you want to have a coffee with fun with friends, this is where you got to go.
I love the food and drinks at this place so much. The games are cool too but usually we don’t spend as much time here as others do. The tiramisu latte I had was incredible. The waffle I got tasted really good. The only problem was the wait time: we waited for probably close to half an hour for our food. We went at peak time, though, so it’s understandable. I love the little things they sell on the side as well!
I am in LOVE with this coffee shop! It has the best coffee I’ve ever had in the Raleigh area with great people and a great atmosphere as well. I’ve never seen a concept like this shop. It is so fun, filled with board games and art from local creators. This will be a staple in my coffee adventures :)
A nice atmosphere! Great to bring the family, a friend, or just to enjoy on your own. Coffee was solid for me. The pour over was great, the French press was wayyyy too much bean to water. Friends have never complained and they offer plant based milks if you're looking for that. The food itself is pretty disappointing but that's hardly a knock when it's more of a side offering than the purpose of the shop. A solid selection of board games that you can pay to play as well. Not the biggest selection I've seen, but certainly the biggest selection at a coffee shop by a country mile. And not just niche picks either - I've seen the big ones like gloomhaven and frosthaven as well. All in all it's a place a frequent whenever I'm in the area!
Meeple's is my new go-to coffee shop around town. Their coffee is STELLAR, pastries are delicious, and the staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. I love the order ahead online option for busy mornings. They have a HUGE board game selection and great coffeehouse seating both inside and outside on their patio. You can even host events at their venue- so cool! Love this place. Support local!!
As an avid board gamer and coffee lover, I was excited to stop in and try this place out. I can't speak for the food because I only got a coffee, but the coffee was dreadful.
Such a fun coffee shop! So I was looking for a place to get some work done in Sundays and instead of going to my usual Starby’s, I decided to try a new coffee shop…. MEEPLES BREW! I had a great experience here and the coffee was good! I got a caramel latte and a cold brew. I definitely appreciated the latte more. The staff was sooooo kind and help me decide what to order which… let’s get into it!! I got CROUISSFLES …. I probably spelled it wrong but I think Meeples made it up away but just order it! I wanted something small to hold me till diner and this was perfect! I got the bacon and cheese one and the mixed berries. The decor in the place is soooo cute! All the art they have is aviator purchase by local artist and they have a TON of games! They is even a “Game Master” there to guide you if you want to play a new game. There is indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of tables to get work done or play games with friends! I definitely recommend this place🤎 #TellemGabbbSentya
The food was delightful, tasty and refreshing!
Great place for board games and food! I’m not an expert in board games but enjoy them from them to time and this is the perfect place to explore new ones while sipping on coffee and munching on some Nutella covered waffles. The whole place is also themed from menus to decorations. The workers there at also very enthusiastic and seem to love board games. There’s even a couple game masters around to teach you the games if you need. Great place to spend our Sunday afternoon.
food is pretty overpriced for size and how little it fills you up. however board game value, selection and atmosphere are amazing and well priced.
Meeples Brew is one of the best coffee shops I've been to in a long time! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is charming, with lots of board games and puzzles available to play, making it a great spot to spend an afternoon with friends or to enjoy a peaceful solo coffee break. Speaking of coffee, the drinks at Meeples Brew are excellent. I tried their signature latte, and it was perfectly balanced and delicious. They offer a range of coffee and tea options, as well as some tasty pastries and snacks to go along with your beverage of choice. The staff at Meeples Brew are friendly and knowledgeable, and they went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience. The service was prompt and efficient, and I appreciated their attention to detail. Overall, I highly recommend Meeples Brew to anyone in the area looking for a cozy and inviting coffee shop. The excellent drinks, comfortable atmosphere, and friendly staff make it a great place to relax and recharge. I will definitely be returning for more coffee and games!
Nice place, good aesthetic, tons of board games, and solid food. However it takes an extraordinarily long time for them to make their food. I ordered a single breakfast sandwich and it took 45 minutes (not an exaggeration, I timed it). Don’t come if you’re in a hurry
