Great place to get coffee. Nice outside seating and some inside spots to get some work done.
Brakeman’s Coffee & Supply in Matthews downtown. This is a must try if you come to Charlotte. Love the White House setting with the trees perfectly grown around to give the yards enough shades and lovely views to enjoy your coffee. More seats in the backyard and second floor, every corner is well decorated. I had the Cold brew and Iced Americano. It is a bit bitter for me but everyone else seems to like it, come try for yourself ‼️ Excellent service.

1st visit. Loved the people, location, atmosphere, choice and the price. Outdoor space, boutique like serene environment was very positive and calming. They also welcome furry friends in their outdoor space is great Will be one of our go to places, even though it little far to get to a coffee shoot/cafe
Plenty of small interior tables if you are looking to work or study. I like they have an outdoor seating as well and plenty of choices for coffee and pastries
Awesome coffee and outdoor seating. Couldn't connect to the wifi outside, but I'm sitting pretty far away, so I'm thinking it's probably better service inside.

The go to post farmer's market coffee spot! Edit: I wish I could give them a 2nd 5 star review. I can't recommend this place enough!

Great place, and much better coffee than Stolebucks. I had a small Americano that was perfect. Wife had a chai latte but said it was weak sauce although she would get it again. The atmosphere is eclectic and welcoming. Highly recommend
I had heard great things prior to visiting but the coffee was a miss. I came here on a busy Saturday, no bother waiting in line. Staff was great but overrun with orders. Made sure to tip 20%+ for that reason. I got a cold brew and it was overly watered down. Cinnamon coffee cake was good but nothing out of this world. Slightly disappointed altogether.
It’s a good spot to hang or do your work/study. It’s busy most of the times and may be hard to find a seat. When the weather’s nice, it’s good to sit outside (both front/back). Everyone has different preferences with coffee. I think coffee here is around 3 out of 5. I usually get a 10 oz. hot latte and I feel that the ratio or how they make it taste a bit inconsistent. I visited about 10+ times with almost same drink and sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s too milky and don’t get enough of the fresh coffee flavor.
