Way overpriced for very average ice cream. I doubt it’s homemade, tastes like Walmart brand at best. Single scoop for $6? Rip off.
I like the selection of homemade Ice creams and their hours. Also they are dog friendly.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY $30 per lb for mediocre chocolate. Charged us about $50 for several pieces. We'd pay anyway if the quality calls for. No free tasting, of course. You would not spend that ridiculous amount of money for this quality of chocolate. Sundaes--also below average quality, $10 for a small one. NO love for your support of local businesses either. If you appear an outsider in this worn-down (dubbed historical) little town, get ready for dirty looks and nasty attitude. To his benefit, the guy at Big Bucks was overly polite, but not sincere.
It's okay at best.
One employee working with no complaints or whining. Very busy and not very many flavor choices
Great experience. Ethan was so nice and excellent at his job and was hilarious.
Ok ice cream
Icecream is delicious and a little expensive.
The ice cream was delicious and the surrounding area is a great place to hang out.
Not worth it. My brother got two scoops of bland ice cream for a premium price. I got a milk shake that tasted just milk. Again, another place here that is run by kids that don’t seem to care about the quality of their work. The boy didn’t even know how to make a milkshake and needed serious help. I would stay away
Ridiculously overpriced! 0ver 6.00 for a single scoop of so so ice cream. We won’t be back.
While it was refreshing on a hot day, I did not think the milkshake was worth 10.00. I got strawberry and found myself spitting out large bitter chunks (not seeds) like they just pulled the leaves off the fruit but left the hard stems in the ice cream.
Very good ice cream, didn't really offer topping options to me, and it is very expensive compared to just making some ice cream at home. But a decent experience if you're in town.
Small portions and extremely expensive. It was 20.00 for 3 single scoops. No extras and the scoop barely came to the top of the cup. The girl working Monday night when we went seemed to hate her job or We defintely interrupted her from whatever she was doing in the back. No personality or customer service at all.
Too cheap for one single scoop
i do not like ice cream very much. i eat ice cream here every single time i possibly can when i’m in the outer banks in the summers. it is the only place i like ice cream from. i live over 1300 miles away but when i think about ice cream, i think about big buck’s. best flavors ranked: 12. you 11. can’t 10. rank 9. them 8. because 7. they’re 6. all 5. equally 4. amazing 3. and 2. delicious 1. chocolate peanut butter
Excellent ice cream. Customer service was good. We ordered 3 scoops in a cup. There were a lot of flavors so plenty to choose from. Prices are high but everything is increased in this tourist area.
Lots of cool different flavors! I got a two scoop in a cup and chose the banana and the banana peanut butter cup swirl and they were both amazing. Really cool that they allow mix & matching flavors with multiple scoops. The two guys working behind the counter were very friendly and very fast! Prices were great also. They also have a large selection of gourmet chocolates.
Very good icecream, over priced
Wanted chocolate or vanilla but they were out of both. Ordered the last scoop of Strawberry and they dropped it on the floor. Didnt want any other flavor after those 3. Employee said they just started there and whoever was there didnt order product so they were out of almost everything as they had not gotten anything in 2 weekz. I feel bad for the employee as they were trying but the state of the store was so bad the employee wasnt able to give a quality experience. I would give my review a 0 if possible. Prices arent great but im willing to pay a premium in a tourist area as long as the service is good and the product is good which it obviously was not. Q: how does a homemade ice cream store that advertises homemade ice cream daily not have ice cream? Sound like they dont make it at all.
