Today I met a angel at port City java her name way may may and she worked in the morning I want to say I will make this me and my husband destination for coffee every morning just to see her she's amazing
The cookies were good
Great service. Blessings!
Great place for coffee and cheaper than other coffee shops.
Horrible waiting time, 18 minutes with 1 car ahead of me and the order wasn’t correct. Won’t be back.
I don’t know who the brunette was who made my Mocha Shake around 11:40 was today, but her Mocha Shake making skills are on point.
I used to love this place but now they’re never open when they say they are. It’s a waste of time to drive to and then they aren’t even open when their website and everything says they are.
I love Port City Java, but this location needs additional staff. The drive through takes >15 minutes or more with only 3 or 4 cars in line at the drive through, with more cars than that bailing because they don't want the wait.
The coffee is a little pricey, but well worth the cost. I'm willing to say that it is better than Starbucks, and Dunkin Donuts.
This local coffee chain is one of the best in the area, with coffee, lattes, chai tea, and many flavors. They have almond milk and in my opinion it is some of the best coffee for sensitive stomachs, and it is delicious! They also tend to have seasonal flavors year- round, which is a definite plus.
My experience at Port City Java was overall good, and the breakfast was amazing. Although, I am concerned with the staff there. There were two seemingly experienced ladies and one new young male. The experienced staff seemed to be pushy with him and one sometimes seemed aggressive with the new employee, even though he was doing his best to learn the job. When I gave my order he appeared very nervous and was given a lot of pressure by the other staff. If this continues the new employee may quit. I believe getting acquainted with something takes time and experience, if he is being treated poorly than he will not want to work there. I believe his name was Dylan, though I am not sure, and he was very polite and helpful. Please see to it that he is being treated well, it would benefit him and the business if the staff showed cooperation instead of oppressing the newer worker. Thank you.
My husband and I were excited to try this cute little place because I love coffee. He has a nut allergy so we asked the nice worker to check the croissant ingredients for any type of nut. We hear her in the back asking her boss and we hear the boss say “just tell him we are out”. The boss comes up to us and tells us very rudely they are out of croissants. Obviously she just didn’t want to look at the ingredients for us. She was very rude and dismissive to us. All because my husband has an allergy. It’s awful to know that someone can’t take a few seconds to read ingredients for a customer with a life threatening allergy. Wish I could give 0 stars.
Wish they did a large red bull infusion. Instead of having to pay 11.00 for 2 to make a large
Om nom nom skinny dirty caramello lechè with sugar free syrup.
Seriously need to reviee the drive thur times. Will never come to this one again.
Coffee is delicious! Ordered the red eye and a bagel with jalapeno cream cheese. Nice kick in the cream cheese.
Most businesses want people to buy their product but I feel like they are super mad I came here at all. I would suggest going a little further down the road to the Porters Neck location, they have great customer service, always get my order right and are fast.
Quiet vibe, but nothing special. Doesn’t feel like the indie coffee shop feel they were going for. Beans are roasted elsewhere and already brewed—you won’t find pour over or exotic roasts if that’s what you’re looking for.
Very good. Enjoyed seeing my friend, NeNe
