I found Union Coffee in my search for GSO study spots. It offers a successful environment to work but with the bonus of good coffee. Union is located right downtown, close to everything but also somehow still tucked away.
A very nice cafe! They have street parking, but for some great reason Im always able to easier find a spot. They have a clean, peaceful environment, and the barista’s and very friendly and talkative. They have good espresso, and simple pastries.
Very good coffee and good barista skills. I went there right at 8 am when they opened and they were giving out free coffee to homeless people. Love to see it!
Great independent coffee shop, personable baristas. My go to during the week. They make their own syrups for lattes and do a wonderful job!
The coffee is excellent: super smooth lattes and wonderful cappuccinos They use a local roaster. Staff was very friendly.
I always receive great coffee and the people are nice. Only issue i have is the missing sofa. That sofa made it feel more relaxing compared to the high tables that have replaced it.
Three cheers for Union Coffee! They set up a mobile latte and hot chocolate bar for our company this holiday season. It brought so much joy and cheer to our office! They were punctual, friendly, and the drinks were fabulous! Charis was really easy to work with in setting up the event, and our favorite barista, Anthony, was able to make it day of. It was such a successful event, we've already booked 2 more for next year!

Out of all the coffee spots in Greensboro, Union is be the only place that provides Portland-level coffee. Everything is immaculate, but the barista routinely calls my wife the wrong name

I recently had the Union Coffee cart at an event and it was a huge hit! Everyone was excited to enjoy handcrafted beverages. The staff were wonderful to work with before, during and after. They set up/broken down quickly and efficiently. I would recommend adding the cart to your next event!

If you are looking for a relaxing place to work, get good coffee, listen to music, and meet great people, this is the spot! Union coffee has been my go to coffee shop over the last year for many reasons, but most of all because it feels like home! The staff is super welcoming and ready to recommend something new! the seating by the window is amazing and you can watch traffic as you focus on work! The music is top notch and its a great place for a coffee date! I know if I ever need a good place to study with great vibes or even just a place to relax, Union is the spot!
Hired Union to cater our backyard wedding event. They were very professional and did a fabulous job. Their cart was clean and neat. They kept up with the high demand with a smile. They arrived early so they would not disturb the events and had plenty of supplies on hand. Highly recommend them for your private event.
