Coffeeology

The reason for me giving less stars: my hot latte was just warm, not hot, as it was handed to me directly. Their signs outside advertise gelato, yet there was absolutely none. They also have no for-here cups, plates or utensils, so there plastic waste is very, very high. They offer a water spigot for people to help themselves, but once again, only single-use plastic cups, getting wasted like crazy. Upon looking at other reviews, it looks like people got for-here cups and plates. So they either got rid of them completely, or the staff denied me in order to not have to clean the dishes afterwords. The workers were kind and the place was clean, which earned the two stars.

coffee quality? excellent. customer service? always awesome. - do yourself a favor and check it out :) coffee has always been fresh 🙌🏻

I was pretty excited to come here. Until i came here. The service was slow, with everything extremely over priced. I didnt see the staff wash their hands after picking up trash from floor.

Saw so many gross things and the coffee isn't even that great. Baristas are rude and managers didn't care. The place is not clean either.

Too pricey for what you get, I'd rather just get Dunkin, employees are rude and disgusting also.

stopped in yesterday for a breakfast wrap and the promised land cold brew!! excellent service and the breakfast wrap was the best I’ve ever tried there. perfectly crisped tortilla with the filling warm & melted!! great job!!!

I used to work here when they first opened up and Im glad I left. I was working 8 hour shifts here without any breaks when the other baristas quit and they had me working alone. Anyways I didn’t know how shady their business was until I left and started working at a better coffee shop. Seriously a big difference and insanely better coffee (and pay!). And none of the managers are requesting for me to clean a kitchen that has black mold like the ones who run Coffeeology. Oh, and these people also wanted me to come in and paint the walls, when they are supposed to hire people for that. These people save money in any corner they can get, because it’s all about the money for them, never the coffee or the workers!! Oh and they are constantly talking bad about Tate Street as if Coffeeology isn’t the worst place to buy coffee. Baristas, you should quit and find a better place that doesn’t have roaches on the floor.

Went today and I’m pretty sure the barista was sick. They sniffled several times but then They literally wiped their nose with the sleeve of their hoodie while I was paying for my coffee.. didn’t wash their hands or take the hoodie off and proceeded to making my coffee… while watching this in utter shock, I saw them use their bare hands to wipe the additional espresso off the rim of the press before brewing it… I didn’t say anything because you just never know now a days .. so once my coffee was complete, and they tried to put those fingers on a lid, I kindly let them know I didn’t need one, thanked them, took the coffee and tossed it as soon as I got to my car… I was so excited about my first time visit and the latte I chose… I guess I’ll stick to using my espresso machine at home

Loved this place. Great atmosphere. Clean establishment. Varied menu with tasty seasonal offerings. Creative & artistic signage by staff. Ask for Barista Cas if he's there for something interesting to try👍. *PS Love the Begal & Gelato options.

its a cute little coffee shop and has a way chiller atmosphere then tate street coffee

I like Tate Street Coffee House better I don't want to support another NATIONAL chain :-(

Great atmosphere, fantastic coffee, and quick, friendly service. It's truly a joy having Coffeeology back in the neighborhood.

Definitely cool little place to visit as we had never stop there before on our visit to Tate Street. Excellent customer service and a friendly smile with a pleasant atmosphere.

It’s great to see Coffeeology getting back into the scene! I’ve certainly missed this place since prior COVID. Like any other place it’s taking some time to get back in the groove of things but overall it’s heading in a great direction. Drinks are amazing and management will go out of their way to ensure staff and customers feel welcomed and comforted. Their menu items are affordable - it’s the best premium gourmet coffee I’ve ever had! If you’re passing through the area, be sure to stop by and grab a delicious iced vanilla latte and be sure to tell them Brandon sent you! 😉

I am never recommending this place to anyone. The establishment is extremely unprofessional towards their employees, and is an overall unsanitary environment for anyone. The raw sewage smell that lingers around is headache inducing and nauseating. Spend your money elsewhere where they have respect for you and their employees.

I am so happy Coffeeology has reopened! I love to support local businesses. They make it so easy to do since their coffee is amazing!
