Great latte and excellent homemade donut. The service was very good as well. Dogs are allowed outside. The baked goods by Malik are all excellent. The location and views are magical.

Great espresso drinks here as well as donuts and cakes from a local bakery. Nice views from the outdoor seating and great atmosphere sitting inside the Haw River Ballroom too.

Menu looked interesting and wait times (after ordering) were running ~35 minutes, so the food must be pretty good. I just didn't have time enough to wait, but I'll try again another day.

I love this place, and regardless of the fact that the lattes are much higher price than anywhere else, I was happy to pay out and sit in the space and look at the river and the big Hall....

I've had the opportunity to visit this establishment on three different occasions. The first time I visited was a blustery, dark morning and the anticipation was sending shivers through my spine as I grabbed the door... it was locked. The second time was much better. It was summer, the river was flowing, flower blossoms were showing, kyakers happily rowing, and I was feeling on top of the world. I took the wheelchair ramp so that I could really experience the full effect of the entrance. As I walked toward the door I could smell the coffee in my mind. I could almost taste it as I vigorously yanked on the front door to go in and order everything in sight. It was locked. The third and final time that I went to this location was much more recently. Let me tell you all something today, the third time really is the charm. The third time is where all the magic happened and when I finally got to experience this place for what it truly is. I pulled in the parking lot and luckily there was one spot available. Finally there were other people around so I knew this was going to be the best time ever. I parallel parked with ease and pulled my hand brake. Several deep breaths later, I burst out of my car and sprinted up the steps toward the doors as fast as I could. I grabbed the door and flung it wide open and stumbled inside. It was a ghost town, everything seemed to be on and functioning except there was nobody around. I walked around the counters and opened the register just to see if anyone might be hiding in there, but couldn't find anyone. After eating a piece of cake and reading a book, I decided to just leave the money I owed in the tip jar so that I would not incur any karmic debt. I'm sure someone works here, I probably just came in while they were taking out the cardboard or something. Updates will come if I get to try the coffee this year. UPDATE: there was a whole bunch of people in there today but they said there's a wedding... Closed. Nice peo

Great place to grab a coffee and a pastry! The vibe is great and it feels like an LGBTQ+ safe space when we go on the weekends. They use 1883 syrups, Sweetbird syrups, Zuma chocolate (I think) and Joe Van Gogh beans! High quality and local. Highly recommended! Also a shout out to Graham (sorry if it's spelled wrong!) for being an awesome barista!

This spot used to be SO good. However, during the school day it is absolutely overrun with kids from the neighboring school. They are loud, disrespectful and, even though they rarely buy anything, they are aloud to overrun every space.
