Today was our 3rd visit at the Kraken, my son loves their frappes! Alex served us and they were so kind, the chocolate macaron and danishes were delicious as well!
Very nice owners and good tea.
Local coffee shop with a fun vibe inside. Outside seating area with umbrellas for shade. I had a cookies and cream Frappe. Then came back another day for a Flavored iced coffee. Friendly staff and clean coffee shop. I love to support local coffee shops.
Love love LOVE the staff! Feels like family when you enter the facility. Great location. And even better coffee!

This is probably the coolest looking coffee shop I've ever seen, with an amazing theme. The staff was energetic and pleasant. But the coffee could not stand in its own. I had their drip coffee and a shot espresso on the side. The coffee had an extremely dark flavor, coming off burnt and unpleasant. The espresso shot, although great in appearance, was overwhelmingly burnt and over extracted. I loved the aesthetic though. They really did nail their theme. I look forward to giving it another shot (ha pun)
I have specific dietary needs (sugar free and dairy free) and every time I’ve been in there it’s never been a problem and they actually made suggestions to make my drink even better! 💗
Every time I come in there it’s an amazing experience. Everyone is so nice and awesome. It’s bad when I come in and everyone already knows my order or ask about my fur babies. The best place I spend my paycheck!!! I absolutely love y’all!!!!

Awesome coffe shop! Great selection and have something for everyone. Our daughter loves the bubble teas. Reasonably priced for the sizes you get. Highly recommend
BEST coffee place in EC! The drinks are fantastic, friendly atmosphere, and Jessa is the best barista I've ever had at any coffee house. I highly recommend the Calico Jack, iced or hot!
I loved there bubble tea it was wonderful i’ve tried all flavours but for the love of God do not get strawberry bubble tea it is the most putrid tasting liquid there is it tasted like pink bismuth absolutely vile
First time in, great coffee and great decor. People should stop in and check it out. I'm a huge fan of the octopus and this place was wonderfully decorated with it. This place was great!

Whenever I’m in Elizabeth City, my kids and I swing by the Kraken for a Thai tea with bubbles! Great atmosphere. I use to live in Ketchikan, where the coffee is from, and it brings back so many memories.
This coffee shop is seriously the cutest! The pirate themed menu was super cool and the staff gives the best service every time I've been in. I love their bubble tea and shipwrecked frappes! All time favorite place downtown!
Was hoping that this could be our new go to coffee shop, as Starbucks is changing a lot of there programs. But was not impressed with atmosphere, service or parking situation. May try once more down the road.
Great place to come in, kick back with a hot beverage & enjoy the whole experience. At home feeling where you can kick off those shoes, curl up to the electric fireplace & enjoy that java, a book, a conversation or the fact you are alive. Seriously, check out this local spot with a local owner. Added bonus after that first cup of java. The bathroom is nicer than most bathrooms people have at their own home. Ample parking on corner lot.
First time there and I was very happy with my coffee and the service was great.
