Really nice coffee shop! The seating area is pretty spacious for the size of the building and there are a good number outlets around. There is also plenty of outdoor seating. The coffee and sandwich I had were delicious and were ready very quickly. Staff was super nice. Also, bonus for a small parking area. Definitely will be returning on my next trip to Asheville!

My first visit in quite some time. I tried their basics breakfast sandwich with egg and cheddar cheese on an everything bagel. I don't recommend it. The bagel with soggy, I guess they nuked it. They had was a flat piece of prefab something-or-other, and I couldn't taste any cheddar in the cheese. I only went because I was in the neighborhood for something else, and I'm afraid I won't be back again.

5 stars for location, ambience and service. 3 stars for the Ella breakfast sandwich - the ciabatta’s texture was great, with a nice crunch, but needed a bit of salt. The sandwich contained fresh, colorful and high-quality ingredients but, alas, was insipid. Two suggestions to elevate the flavor - 1) be more generous with the pesto, and 2) switch out the moz for a cheese with some bite, perhaps a Gruyère or an aged sharp cheddar. 5 stars for the chai latte - most definitely NOT insipid, with a wonderful and satisfying flavor kick. Also 5 stars for the ample meatless selection and the ability to sub soysage for meat on any item. Major thumbs up there! Would give 4.5 stars overall if I could.

Great place to enjoy a cup of coffee. Did not try the baked goods or breakfast sandwiches but they all looked amazing. Cafe latte with oat milk was excellent!

It's a nice space in a good location if you're wandering through the RAD, but people who are serious about their coffee should be warned that they only serve coffee in paper/plastic cups, unless you bring your own. It's hard to take a coffee shop seriously when they treat espresso that way. So it's a nice stop if you're looking for a pastry or a bagel, but there is much better coffee all over Asheville.

This place was great, lots of vegan and gluten free food and baked good options for breakfast and lunch. Also have almond milk and oat milk.

This coffee bar is in the Art District and it was busy but we found a table. The weather outside was cold and windy so a hot cup of good coffee was just what we needed. Their WIFI signal was strong and just about everyone there was on some electronic device.

Im a single mom and local artist who just called 5 minutes ago to ask for Ultra Coffeebar's email to inquire if they'd like to commission me for a mural. A simple no would have sufficed and I would have been fine as not everyone might want to commission me but hanging up in my face as if I'm some cold caller or debt collector is really rude. In all of the inquiries I have made, nobody has hung up on me like that and it was really discouraging as someone pursuing her dreams as an artist. I liked having my coffee here sometimes but I'll no longer be going because I won't support a business who treats local artists and creators in such a mean demeanor. I always turn down commission inquiries kindly, it's not that hard to do the same...

If you like your coffee to taste like water, this is the place for you. Also rather costly.

Loved this place. Not a resident of Asheville, but during my time there, it was the best coffee shop around. Ready good coffee with some real nice brunch items! The bagels were to die for. Very kind and caring staff, a great morning coffee joint for sure!! ☕

Small but mighty coffee and sandwich shop right in the middle of Asheville's River Arts District. My favorite sandwich is the Fig & Brie on Ciabatta, but they have other really yummy options. 😋 Good coffee, too. The inside area is a bit snug, but they do offer outdoor seating. Definitely worth a visit when you are in the area.
