Solid spot. Note: the menu has changed in the last year. The current menu is in their website; or uploaded here. Bummed they don’t have the vegan sandwich anymore! It was one of my favorites.

Finally The West End is back and doing things well again. It has been through a lot of owners and the current ones are great!

Friendly staff. Fresh baked goods. Everything we had was excellent. For pricing, 3 people was about 40 bucks.

The pastries, bagels, and breads here are phenomenal! Best croissants I’ve ever had. Staff was super nice and helpful. Good coffee too! Definitely recommend!

Well, hello Dolly! Stef has brought the morning glory back to West. What a delight! The cinnamon rolls are back, the delicious food is back, the customer interaction is back, the PLANTS!! It’s such a joy to walk in there. I wanted to keep it to myself, but I can’t. Go there, she’s great, it’s fab, you’ll be delighted.

A few notes: yes it’s under new ownership. This is like 4 new owners in 4 years but these people are really doing it right. If you are still complaining that the cinnamon rolls aren’t the same get over it, that was a long time ago. The bagels here are excellent. I’m headed back today for the breakfast pot pie. Really glad to have a good bakery back in central west again!

Went in today and realized that the bread here is the best in town! They always have sandwich loafs and a good bit of artisian loafs too!

Had the best chocolate croissant of my life here! Cold brew was also perfect. I love atmosphere and all the employees were incredibly nice!

My salad was delicious. Takes too long to get your order. Speed it up!

A great selection of locally baked sweets and breads with generous options of drinks. The BLAT was delicious, amazing bread, aioli, turkey and bacon. Size was fulfilling.

I decided to give this place another try, after having a disappointing experience a month prior. Before they closed and reopened, I loved going here. This time, I ordered a coffee and an almond croissant. It was $9.50 before tip. The croissant was big- which made me excited, but the inside was almost raw and very doughy. I couldn't eat it and had to throw it away. Truly disappointing. I guess fool me once- shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me. I would not recommend this place. truly disappointing. go to OWL bakery instead. It's just down the road!! 295 Haywood Rd, Asheville, NC 28806

Staff are amazing so these two stars don’t reflect how sweet they are. Just since they reopened I was hoping for a solid breakfast place. It appears that the basic egg sammy is pre cooked reheated eggs. The burrito is definitely pre frozen bc it was cold in the middle. Just way too expensive for frozen food 😬

Sense painting it purple and reopening this place has once again become my favorite. The staff are friendly and greet me by name everytime i come in. Every snack or treat i get becomes my new favorite, everything tastes amazing especially the brioche doughnuts! Whenever my clients are craving a snack i send them down to go get something tasty! Love this place so so much

Hands down the BEST BAKERY in Asheville and probably the whole state. Looking forward to trying their sandwiches and soups etc.

West End reopened with an amazing new menu... This breakfast chicken pot pie might be the best thing on ANY cafe menu in town right now. Haven't tried them yet, but those donuts served w/the hole as a little extra donut treat look incredible. There are a ton of amazing looking GF baked goods in the case, too!

Under new ownership. Our favorite stone ground mustard... Gone... Bialy bread... gone... Hickory nut gap sausage... Gone...(I think?) Surprisingly, that sausage egg and cheese is still amazing.

Quiet cafe vibe... solid sandwich. The salad was tasty but too small. Service was super friendly but slow with only a handful of customers. Hope they get more staff before it gets busy.

West End Bakery is back y'all. Picked up a couple of breakfast sandwiches, a cinnamon roll, and a couple of croissants...did not disappoint. Service was fast and so kind. So glad to have them back in the neighborhood.
