Like the vibe of the roastery. Espresso was the best I found in Asheville.

Coffee was good - got an oat milk latte. I wish the space was a little bigger, there were only a couple seats.

Our first time in Asheville and I’m glad we stopped in here. It was cool to see them roasting fresh coffee right in front of us.

Freshly roasted coffee. The dirty chai was well done. Highly recommend

This place has decreased the quality of its coffee since I last visited a couple years ago. The dark haired cashier was not welcoming and had a rude attitude. Never coming back again

PennyCup is my favorite coffee in Asheville. This is my preferred location. It’s where they roast the coffee. Small, intimate, limited seating. But I chose times when it’s likely to be less busy. I can see people complaining a out there being only one barista working at any given time. But, if it is Jacob working, you will be welcomed.

Everyone seems to love this place, but we honestly liked some others better. Not a smile to be had when we did the entire transaction. The coffee was fine, but it's clear there is a talent crisis.

Always looking to find a roaster when visiting a new area. PennyCup is top notch! Jacob was working the bar. He was extremely kind and helpful and made a delicious cappuccino (almond milk) for my wife. They had over 15 options for single origin beans. I had an Ethiopian that tasted very pure and fresh. Prices are fair, ambience is cozy. I like the open layout. Someone was roasting a batch right there to watch.

The coffee is minutes roasted fresh. Great music, great clothing too. One of the coolest places in town for sure!
