Thoroughly enjoyed my morning chatting with the Barista Rand and the owner Kristin. The latte was super strong too. :)
Thanks for the Mexican Mocha, Taylor. :)
I absolutely love everything about this place. The ambiance is so unique; I've never been to a coffee spot quite like this. The gentleman who made my drink was so kind! And the coffee is beyond words. It was so smooth and not bitter in the slightest. It didn't even upset my acid bath of a stomach!
Super friendly staff. Had a Karma. Best latte I've had in a while.
Very nice place! My boyfriend got a lovely caramel iced latte and I just got a coke. The worker on Sunday night, whose name I have forgot, was very wonderful to us and recommended us some places to check out!
Love coffee shops like this!!
Hole in the wall coffee place that can be hard to miss but hard to forget. Super chill vibes, lowkey atmosphere and nice lighting. Great for a first coffee date or catching up with an old friend. Love the setup with tables and decor. Freshly roasted coffee beans as well for sale. Barista was super friendly and cool guy. La Marzocco espresso machine as well; you know they take their coffee seriously. Full bodied dark roast espresso was delicious; lots of heavy notes and deep flavor throughout. Also open fairly late (past 5 pm) for a coffee shop, which is a plus. If you need a quick evening coffee, this is the place to check out.
Coffee was outstanding. The guy behind the counter didn't just give poor service but acted like we were an inconvenience. I'd rather have bad character with good coffee than good character with bad coffee any day.
Me and my wife go here all the time. Always the best, and everyone’ working is always really kind and good at their job. Cold brew and bagels are a transcendent experience. Can’t recommend enough. 100/10
Barista man got angry and raised his voice at me because he poured me a dairy milk hot chocolate - because he wasn't listening or paying attention when I said oatmilk hot chocolate. Then proceeded to tell me it's best if I find somewhere else when he started berating me for not telling him oatmilk.. Sad man. One of the girls that works here is very nice and served me correctly two days ago a oatmilk hot chocolate with a touch of sea salt, and that was nice. Feeling sorry for her to have to work with this guy!
We are visiting from out of town… the barista today (1/21) was exceptional! He was so fun to talk to & gave us many recommendations on local spots we should try. The coffee was amazing… I would definitely recommend this place! ❤️
Accidentally stumbled on this place on my way to a different coffee shop. I’m happy I did! I loved the grungy (but still cozy) vibe and grabbed my usual drink for a decent price! Really great time!
The coffee was just ok, the barista was really rude.
Great coffee and atmosphere. A definite place to stop next time.
Warm & dimly lit coffee shop with local art displayed on the walls. I feel like this cafe was once an old dive bar (?) based off of the graffiti-style bathroom ~ has a lot of personality Things you should know: I. PARKING The most convenient spot is along the street outside the shop. It's prepay street parking. I'm unsure if there's somewhere you can park where there is validation. II. SERVICE Friendly staff III. QUALITY We just ordered a house coffee and it did the trick IV. CAPACITY Fair amount of available seats for a week day early-evening
Fantastic little coffee shop! Excellent coffee with decent prices and a very local flair. It was a great place to take a break and relax for a little bit. They have art for sale, small snacks, and great service.
The matcha latte was good but very weak. The aromatics of the rose coffee were nice. It was just okay overall.
Two years later, remains strong
had to edit my review. used to love this place but there is a very rude old man barista who is just a disgusting soul. i come here EVERY SINGLE MORNING. i am homeless and still tip every single day. i came here this morning to get a bagel and chai. i just walked in about 3 hours later and asked if i could use the bathroom literally just to wash my hands and the old man wouldnt let me because i couldnt buy anything at that second. no humanity, no compassion, only wants your money. i used to love this business but that is disgusting and you will never get any more money from me. i am literally 20 years old and homeless. its not hard to be nice. i just wanted to wash my hands :( i do want to give credit to the other baristas because they were very sweet and amazing every day but this one old guy has always been rude and cold. you can never casually talk to him or anything, he makes you feel like you are a burden as you are paying for ur food... doesnt match the rest of the staff at all and unfortunately he just ruined all of it for me. he was the one working (9/26/22) at 3:30pm. i am not a malicious person and genuinely dont want to hurt your business with 1 star reviews over one bad situation so if you can apologize ill delete it. but if u cant then itll stay up.
My boyfriend and I stopped in and shared a drink and a bagel. We got a frozen blended green tea and an asiago bagel with cream cheese. They both were really good! It was such a nice snack. The inside is super cool, and the person working was also really cool. I sadly did not get his name, but he mentioned to someone that he was studying radiology so that’s awesome. Highly recommend stopping in and trying something!
