I came here last June, almost a year ago, and I can't stop thinking about the place. I was up in Asheville housesitting for family so I was alone, and wanted to check out some different cafés in the city. This was the best one. I went to a different café every day for a week and a half, and I just can't get this one outta my head. I have a playlist I made from songs I heard while sitting in here, typing on my computer next to the open window. The coffee was awesome, and the environment even better. You can tell everything about this place is super thoughtful, from the furnishings, to the plants, to the cups and plates they use. I have to go back to Asheville. It can't be farewell to Farewell for me yet.

Went out of my way to scope a new coffee shop outside of my usual spots. Big mistake. They charged me a dollar over the listed price on the menu, which I didn't noticed until checking my email receipt from Square. On top of that, they charge an extra dollar(!) for alt milk and advertise flavored lattes that don't taste like anything, not even coffee! And the two (of three) employees stood there casually chatting as one guy's holding my unfinished drink... Overpriced, subpar, and obviously not in it for the customer. Farewell! 👋🏽

The lattes we got were carefully crafted and delicious. The coffee shop was super quiet and had a good vibe.

Ordered an iced latte, just got a bad cold brew, a barista who didn't know the difference and was too busy chatting to care. Definitely skip this place and go anywhere else. Nice patio though.

Trendy airy coffee shop stopped me in my tracks- eager to find such a beautiful space I went in. The drip coffee was very bitter and the hipster hiker looking barista was cold. Second trendy coffee shop I have visited in Asheville with too cool for you baristas. So much for southern hospitality.

Delicious and quality food + great service. Has indoor and outdoor seating (not covered). Dogs can stay inside as well, assuming they are well behaved/calm. I highly recommend the plain croissant (warmed) and the Veggie Quiche (warmed).

I really like this location for a coffee shop. They have great lattes and homemade syrups. It's close to green man and this place stays open till 8pm! The best way to enjoy this place is to come on a warm day and they open up all the studio style windows. It's a beautiful building with lots of modern style.

Light and airy. Great coffee. Nice folks behind the counter. But WiFi limited to one hour and rate limited to slower than mobile data. If you're wanting to do some work or take a call, probably best to go elsewhere.

I LOVE FAREWELL Such a classic asheville coffee shop! Great coffee, I like the dirty chai and they have good lattes with fun flavor syrups, if that’s your thing. The food is very good, they have mostly pastries and desserts. This is a great place to get some work done, it’s typically pretty quiet. However, on a Saturday, it will be pretty busy and social. The coffee can be pretty expensive, and parking can be sporadic, but they do have some spots. Overall, an excellent coffee shop that I return to again and again!

Great coffee, great atmosphere! Lots of good lighting, and it's tucked away in a cozy little corner of Downtown Asheville. The coffee is fantastic! I highly recommend Farewell!

Farewell is worth the short drive! Bright and cozy. Their bar is nicely equipped with a mod bar espresso machine. They know what’s up!

Cool vibe and friendly staff but their chai latte was a watery weak disappointment. Smelled super strong and then tasted barely like the essence of chai spice.

Not bad and definitely one of the better places for matcha lattes in Asheville.
