Amazing place. Great regulars, great staff, great atmosphere, just all around a wonderful place to be. The events they hold are also a lot of fun. I've been to their Open Jam and Open Mic and had a blast at each.
besides being banned and not being offered any explination why i would say this is a cool place to hang out.
Atmosphere very inviting. Beautiful decor. Wide variety. One thing I’d like to say though is that I’ve been to about 50 or more kava bars and opened up a few of my own. This place has the most extreme kratom prices I have ever seen in my entire life. Kratom is cheap we all know that, so I really don’t understand the need to charge $15 for a small plain KR drink. Kavatender was nice but a bit condescending at times. We visited Thursday 4/20 @ 8PM.
Really cool place to chill when your not an alcohol drinker. The menu of drinks make things interesting and the Kava and other herbal mixes are fun to learn about. If you want to get messed up go to a bar or smoke other things. It’s like a coffee bar at night for people who want to have a place to chill with friends and have a great time without being drunk. DJ is very friendly and helpful.
The atmosphere and service were great. But didn't get any effect from the overpriced drink, and it didn't even taste good.
Beautiful space with friendly staff and tasty drinks. They do an open mic every Sunday too!
As an Asheville local, I can say that Elevated Kava is my favorite spot in Asheville. It's a versatile space that I go to for work (great wifi and good seating), jams (open jam and open mic), and just to hang or meet friends. The staff, namely DJ and Veronica, are super nice and always make me feel at home. A rare gem in Asheville!
Cool atmosphere. Bartender was super friendly and knowledgeable.
Kava Tender DJ was very friendly and informative for first time kava goers.
Stumbled into here on accident. Never heard of Kava but was welcomed and treated like family. DJ is awesome and Veronica has one of the best personalities I’ve ever come across. Will definitely come back next time I’m in town
Wonderful atmosphere, incredible staff with very community family energy. The drinks are delicious! If you like less sweet things like me, ask about doing half the sweetness. I enjoyed a green kratom drink with cream, and sugar free vanilla & coconut topped with nutmeg. 1000 stars ⭐️ don’t forget to get a punch card : )
Amazing atmosphere, music, and drinks 10 out of 10 would recommend
Love this place… Great people and wonderful drinks. The events are a good time too, and they are posted via Instagram. Check it out if you are in W Asheville. Has great coffee, mocktails, kombucha…. and wifi too!
So cool! First time I’d ever tried kava. Cool thing about elevated is they have a kava cocktail menu as opposed to just the natural tea. Flavor options are diverse but my favorite is the honeypot (cream, sparkling water, simple syrups I think). Unique sweet flavor unlike any drink I’ve ever have. Really delicious and the kava definitely does have a calming effect. Great vibes, psychedelic decor, super friendly owners Beth and DJ, and weekly events like ecstatic dance and open mic. Great social alternative to going out to a bar if you’re not into alcohol. Perfect location on second floor of historic building on Haywood in west Asheville.
friendly and welcoming atmosphere, they were very hospitable to me and my pups
Elevated is my go to hangout spot. From wonderful employees that genuinely care to comfy couches for chilaxin to all their cool events that they host, I love this place!
Such a lovely place to visit! Friendly and informative kava-tenders. A great place for people new to the scene to go, or if you just want to grab some tea and read a book. Incredibly welcoming all around! Don’t miss this place.
Mellow Kava/Kratom bar with innovative drinks and intelligent, attentive, and personable staff. A great place to chill and chat.
Witnessed an employee coming out of the bathroom stall and return to work without washing their hands. Gross.x
The place is usually empty, The staff kicked us out for asking how long a tea would take to brew. They started yelling about not asking. Asked if they was something we did and got kicked out. Maybe a bad day? As a reply: I’ve never been treated like I was there in my entire life, let alone asked to leave an establishment for a curious question. Based on the reply below, the bartender made things up. I didn’t get loud at all. I politely asked how much longer a tea would take and the bartender replied unprofessionally which was upsetting. No one was uncomfortable until he decided to kick me out when I told him there was no need for a that sort of behavior, I was just curious. I’m sorry management took their word against the customer in this case instead of calling us as requested.
