I was excited to go to Dobra Tea hoping to enjoy some delicious tea in an interesting and relaxing environment. Hate to say it but I was a little bit disappointed. Customer service was very good. The cashier was friendly and helpful. She gave me some suggestions when I asked her. No complaints about service. The place does have an interesting design that makes you feel like you're sort of not in US (like in Asia). I wanted to sit in the back but it was way too dark so I had to sit at the front. As for the drinks, and this is why I'm giving them a 3, are just normal, a bit bland and nothing special. We order 4 drinks and 2 cookies. - the oolong tea (with lemon and something else): not impressed, boba was a little hard so wouldn't recommend adding it in. - cookies were okay - matcha was good. They used good matcha powder. Not bitter.

Ambiance, product, staff. This place has it all. 5 start for sure. I would even give it a 6.

What an awesome find! Stumbled upon it while visiting. I used to live in Asia so this place felt very authentic and comforting. The tea selection was fab.

By far this is truly my most favorite and cherished place to visit any time that I am in Asheville. It is a must 👌 Good tea, good service, kind people, awesome relaxing environment. My favorite tea is the Yerba Mate Grande, I would get it everyday if I could.

Stuff didn't seem real friendly and I asked a question where to put my cup and I got a dirty look and I just pointed a finger to the general direction. Shame that they treat their customers like that. But the tea was good.

Amazing section of teas, great location and a very chill vibe. I really love that you can order whole leaf tea served in a steeping kettle so you can steep yourself and enjoy the experience. The only drawback for me on this particular visit was that it took over 20 minutes to get my order, and they weren’t particularly busy (and others who came in after me were served within 5 minutes). I’ve been here before with no issues, so I am hopeful that it was an isolated issue with no explanation.

I want to go back. I'll make it a point to go back. The owner was really nice and informative. All of their tea was spectacular! We bought tea to take home with us. Its been over a week and I have dreams about the experience. It's so beautiful inside and cozy. I could have spent the entire day there if I didn't have to go home.

Great service and nice ambiance. Everyone including other guests are so nice. Seating in the back is dim and shoes off. Other seating is available, but one table near us was sticky. The iced matcha tea was VERY watery. It just didn't pack that strong matcha flavor. The bubble tea we got was a decent effort but the Boba were so clumped (talking like 10 in a giant mass). The flavor of the bubble tea was interesting but the mix wasn't a favorite and would rather get Boba elsewhere.

Cool ambiance but they won’t serve you at 8:40 for a to go drink when they close at 9. Just feel like you should update your hours to the time you’re done serving

I have been frequenting dobra tea since they first opened. Here are all of the things that I love and some tips for ordering. 1. The hummus plate is very very good, and the bread is gluten-free! 2. The miso soup has a much better flavor than your standard miso soup from other restaurants. 3. But the stand out is the raspberry brown butter tea cakes. These are so good that when my children find out that I have been to dobra and did not bring them raspberry brown butter tea, cakes, there is much sadness. They are so delightful and they smell amazing. It’s brown butter goodness! So hard to describe how amazing these are. They’re both at once soft and substantial, sweet and buttery, but not too sweet… they are, in a word, perfect. 4. Have some fun with the tea selection! I know it can be intimidating, but the people who work there can really help you out with what you want. Try something new. Branch out! Here are some fun suggestions. Touareg. It’s green tea strongly flavored with mint. Touareg tea is served in authentic stainless steel teapot with real Moroccan tea glasses. This is such a special experience. Clear communication. This one is lovely if you just want something soothing and herbal. “A soothing and mildly warming blend of marshmallow root, licorice root, ginger root, cinnamon, clove, cardamom, fennel and orange peel that nourishes the throat and encourages crystal clear articulation of thought and feeling. Sip on this tisane to sooth a sore throat, alone to explore your inner landscapes or with others to facilitate clear communication.” Mix something herbal. Ask for a Tulsi basil with a little lavender thrown in and some honey on the side. Be adventurous and try a pu-er. This is wonderful if you want to sip on the same tea for some time, order some food and relax. The flavor of the tea is changed with each pouring. It is served in a gaiwan with a glass pitcher and bamboo brewing tray. The atmosphere of dobra is relaxing, while at once being a litt

This tea shop is so nice, great quality beverages (including some for those of us who don't really like tea) but I think what really made it special and truly worth going to is the atmosphere. I highly recommend wearing socks!

Feign no knowledge of brewing tea. Let the staff coach you on how to brew your pu'ehr tea even if you've done so many times before. A staff member vigorously corrected my technique once, but if you are ok with disciplinary instruction from a server, you will understand something about Asheville life that you won't get elsewhere.

Only lost a stat because I ordered salad rolls and they told me after I paid they didn't have them, kind of disappointing because it was a match combo for our peanut sauce on noodle salad. Orwell, the hummus platter was delish, tea was okay, they had so many other options though! Their salad was scrumptious and the atmosphere was top notch - cozy, comfortable and inviting. The table booth are near us had some really awesome women we chatted it up with. Such a nice social and friendly place. I strongly recommend. Healthy food, gluten free options if you have allergies etc. I'd go back if I was from around here!

I love it here so much, their tea mixes are always amazing. Leah is super nice and friendly!!! I got their new white rose matcha with oat milk and their Shak-tea. Love both so much! The white rose matcha reminded me of peanut butter cookies.

I really enjoyed my first visit to Dobra Tea. They have a very large selection of authentic teas and a few small deserts/dishes. I really enjoyed the date and fig oat bar. The ambiance and overall vibe of this location is what makes it really shine, however. I will be back!
