Nice little spot to have breakfast or a quick coffeè to go. The outside has a nice front porch and seating area 👌espresso could be more consistent.
Nice place to stop in for coffee and teas. Lots of comfy chairs to sit and talk. Very 60s bohemian vibe.
This is the the place that locals enjoy stay away if you're not local 🌈🤡🌈
The coffee was fine but service was terrible.
Lavender blueberry latte was good. Vibe is nice, artsy and modern. People are nice. Two spots to sit: couches in the front, tables in the back. Artwork to look at.
I enjoyed the vibe of the place and the people. It’s definitely more of a hipster/alt spot. Very small space for how busy it gets. As an artist myself the art was pretty cool but I could definitely see how it could make people uncomfortable. I got a blueberry lavender flavored latte which I believe was their special at the time. It was too sweet for me however I also got oat milk which is a sweet alternative milk. I suggest while ordering flavored lattes to ask for less sweet if you aren’t into super sweet coffee drinks. If you are then they will be perfect for the sweet tooths~
We came here for coffee. It’s our new closest spot.
Excellent coffee and food served by excellent people. Locally owned and operated with heart and soul! The vibe is casual, artistic, and welcoming to all.
I have been a regular customer at this business at least twice a week. Today I ordered a bagel to go from the food window. After 40 minutes waiting and seeing numerous customer orders come up ahead of mine, I inquired at the window and they indicated they forgot my order. I need to be somewhere and asked for a refund. After completely forgetting my order for 40 minutes they refused to offer a refund. Such a bad way to run a business. You could have had customers for life, now I will never set foot in here again. Too many coffee shops in Asheville to be treated like this. Shameful.
Coffee and food were fine, but not special. It was quite expensive for what we got. Even when you are eating there, you can only order to-go and online, which makes for a very unwelcoming experience (but full tipping is still expected naturally). The space was especially cold.
Feels like being in a living room at a cool friend's house.
Lively and unique atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious coffee. First time visiting and I got a lavender dark chocolate mocha - it was delicious and like no coffee I’ve ever had before! Would definitely recommend and go again.
Watered down americano. Terrible business model. Really bad design to the shop that makes it confusing to order - which means employees are having to explain how to order over and over and over again. Long wait for a simple bagel. No one was at counter and had to make order online which took 4x the amount of time. Basically you do the labor but still pay a tip?
Great coffee shop! Welcoming and inviting. Cafe in the back for food too. Great outdoor seating and plenty of places to sit inside in a living room-feel.
Bought a bag of the Columbia roast and it's got two thumbs up from me and my roommate. Stay groovy yall
One of the best coffee bars in Asheville. They always have good specials and it's a definite bonus that they share a building with Tiger Bay Cafe
amazing food and drinks, amazing staff, amazing art!! i love this place ♡
Good atmosphere. Coffee was pretty bad, "burnt" being the only detectable flavor. Service was good but not friendly at all (this with the caveat that they were not busy at all when I went)
Always good coffee and a nice place to hang out. We usually order breakfast from Tiger Bay Cafe (in the same building) then get a coffee from BattleCat. Plenty of seating inside or outside.
Quirky and fun, drip coffee was meh and the GF muffin was still raw in middle. Wanted to like this place more
