Fun store. I stopped by there on my way home from work a few days ago and bought some salami, cheese, and Greek olives. The quality of the purchased items was fantastic. I also enjoyed chatting with the staff. Love the store, love the neighborhood.
Hello, my name is George Gruel and I'm a cheeseoholic. The Grocery has the best cheese selection in the Capital District. It's not about how many varieties they have, it's about the high quality that they all are. Andrew is the manager and he knows a hell of a lot about cheese and all of his suggestions have been spot on. And there's lots of other cool edibles as well. Go. Enjoy. Then, after an exhilarating shopping experience, slip next door to the Confectionery, for a real treat.
A new place in Troy, not much selection but I think it will grow into a nice place.
