A complete Brooklyn, hipster place. Look. I'll spend anything for good food. But what I won't do is spend 40 bucks on avacado toast and a few lattes and use plastic knives and forks. Your food is served wrapped in foil as if you were dining at Burger King.

I've visited this place many times and I must say that they offer good coffee, which is rare to find in town. However, some of the staff could be a little more kind to their customers. At times, I get the impression that they are too cool to be nice. Nevertheless, I appreciate the good coffee they serve. Best of luck.

I went to this coffee shop with my boyfriend yesterday and ordered the usual Ceremony matcha latte with pistachio milk My boyfriend wanted to order a caramel macchiato , and the girl explained to me that it was two shot of espresso and Milk. Well I've been there many times and bought myself a Ceremony matcha latte and it came in a normal cup in a normal size and when I came and said I didn't like it they started accusing me that they always make it that way and that it was the normal size and it was a terrible matcha latte of my life I just don't understand why to argue with customers if the customer knows better than you in terms of what they want

We know that American food is not tasteful but Druthers is different. All the menu is surprisingly good, the coffee is amazing and the place is very nice. Just could have more outlets.

My third visit. There would be many more if I didn't live in Missouri! Previous stops included our group sharing a number of breakfast/brunch items with great coffee. But today was different: it was Saturday after 5pm when Druthers serves adult beverages. I was persuaded to try a Druthers Martini: espresso, a coffee liquor and vodka. I'm not a martini fan, and espresso is strong for my taste, but this drink was INCREDIBLY smooth and delicious. The best hummus ever with a cheese plate that included Cotswold cheddar put this experience over the top. Kudos to this amazing shop! Of course, I'll be back!

Druthers is the best place around for coffee, I drive 20 minutes because it’s that good… the owners are incredible people who take pride in serving local, woman owned, organic products and it is very appreciated! Everything’s made in house and the cookies are incredible. Everybody should come here :)

Iced Americano with simple syrup. The coffee tastes good. It is in a good location. There is parking available. It is right near the train station. Is right across from the back of Stony Brook University. The ambiance is nice. Modern, suburban country chic look.

Typical, good but overpriced coffee shop. Add an extra star if you like being surrounded by hipsters from Stony Brook University. By the way, some people complain they don't have enough outlets or charging stations...I LOVE that they don't have extra outlets and charging stations...This way I have a good chance of being able to sit for 20 minutes, enjoy a coffee and then leave as opposed to obnoxious people buying a $6.00 coffee and hogging seats with their laptops for 2 hours.

First time visitor to this establishment and have to say it was disappointing overall. The young girl behind the counter was somewhat personable but didn’t really seem to make an effort to help or engage with the customer. The coffee selection (drip, pour over) was 0, with only one choice and having tasted it, it was noting other than your average cup of coffee. Well average is a little generous given that it was warm when served. However, by the time I got to the car it was luke warm and not very pleasant to drink. At almost $4.00 for a small cup and nearly $6.00 for the same coffee served as a pour over it is definitely on the high end for pricing. That said, if the coffee would have been made from high quality beans, served hot, and served by staff that were more engaging the cost is fair. Being a coffee lover and a person who has a solid background on the matter it is frustrating when you enter a “coffee house” and get sub par service and coffee.

Nice place. They always have interesting milks like macadamia nut or pistachio nut milk in addition to the typical non dairy alternatives. They always make a nice design :) coffee tastes good.

Hats off Druthers has amazing coffee. I bought 2 hazelnut lattes and they were the best lattes I ever had in my life. In addition to the coffee the environment of Druthers is also amazing. Very aesthetic to be exact. Would definitely recommend!

The coffee is perfect and the staff are super friendly. The menu options are fantastic but can be a little one note and I would love if they would diversify a little.

The iced burnt caramel latte is the only flavor of its kind on Long Island (that I know of). I had the frittata today. It was tasty, but I would not order it again. It took 10 minutes to come out. That is too long for a hangry woman!! The service is always good, and the place is so clean that it is pitiful.
