Every time we are in town we stop by this bakery for lunch and baked sweet goods to bring home. The baker is a master at her craft which shows in a variety of scrumptious sweet and savories. We can't get enough of her food.

So so so good. We had a lemon blueberry tart, peanut butter cookies and a loaf of focaccia bread. That bread was AMAZING!!

Walking by we saw the delicious looking baked goodies in the window. I chose a chocolate flourless muffin. We spoke with the super nice owner that has been a baker for 20+ years and opened Violet’s Bakery; named after her daughter. If you are in the area, I can highly suggest stopping in.

I saw their booth at the Saugerties farmer’s market today and got one of their (I forget the name, but it’s sort of like pizza toppings on pasty dough). I was so blown away by their roasted tomato, basil, and goat cheese one that on my way out of town I had to stop by the bakery location to try the caramelized onion, mushroom, and blue cheese version. They were both to die for and I don’t know which was better. Definitely coming back every time I’m in town!

A must go to! Sina’s bakery is amazing. Never have I tasted such authentically fresh and delightful sweets. They aren’t too sweet and all are with local ingredients:) we love her shop and hope she stays for a long while. Must try her quiche as well as flourless chocolate cake ❤️

Violets is our favorite weekend spot for treats. Sina and her bakers are so talented. Everything is made with love. We order cakes for birthdays often and they are just as great as the scones and muffins. Keep an eye out for rosemary pear muffins. Incredible. And you can is usually find a flourless chocolate cake for sale. Our favorite! Be sure to visit this sweet little spot the next time you are in the village. It also feels good to support a woman owned business.

What a wonderful find!! Truly an excellent cappuccino. We got the flourless chocolate cake to go and we’re not disappointed tonight for dessert. Well worth a stop!

The sweetest little bakery, right on the main strip in the Village of Saugerties. Delicious treats, coffee and in the summer, refreshing strawberry lemonade!

Delicious! Stopped here for the first time today and I’m very glad I did. Small quaint shop, and super friendly staff...the smell when I walked inside was fantastic. Ordered a slice of quiche, a giant blueberry muffin, and a pecan pastry all were delicious!
