This location is within walking distance from our apartment! We don't always get breakfast here but we do stop in every once in a while and always enjoy it!
Usually not worth ordering food here as it’s overpriced, takes a VERY long time, and doesn’t taste very well. They have a decent selection but the employees always seem kind of confused and come off as rude when I order. If you’re looking for a good coffee/cafe downtown, there are numerous better options within walking distance. Two stars for the beautiful building.
There was a big line and long wait after order. They need to have more employees , spatially they have to make something over the weekend which long lines and long wait happened mostly. The food is delicious and wonderful.
I went to spot coffee and it is delicious! There is a great breakfast and its an ok price but I would recommend
Disappointing service. Extremely slow to bring the food. Taking more than 30mins to bring a wrap. Still waiting for the food. Understaffed and overworked employees.
Tried going here for lunch today. Waited at least 5 min for someone to take my order, but the 3 employees behind the counter didn't even acknowledge me. There were too busy cooking and just ignored me. Just left without ordering.
Very nice looking interior. There was a nice selection of food. I went earlier in the day and there were not many people there.
Ordered a Cinnamon Bun online. Was informed by the manager when I arrived to pick up the item that they do not have them at that location. The manager then offered an alternative, but I did not want anything else. He then refused to provide a refund, stating that he: "...will not take money out of my register for something you purchased online." I stated that I do not want cash and would prefer it going back to my card, but he said that was not possible and claimed that the store does not receive online payments, in spite of the receipt in his possession. I had to challenge the purchase with Citi.
Met my friend there for a quick bite. Loved the environment and service. Only issue was a few panhandlers walked in looking for change. It irked me a bit. Not really mgmt's fault. It's hard to be anywhere in Rochester and not run into them.
Stopped at Spot for a coffee while in town after not going for many years. The store is different and upgrades, but same great menu and taste.

The space was so big and nice. The staff who served us was really nice. We got a nice treat. They have too many choices for the latte flavours! The place was recommended to us by someone. I will definitely come again and try other stuff.
Spot should change it’s name to S*cks, stopped by Sunday, 12-11, for a coffee and pastry, seemed like a cool place in the East End. Wanted something more than basic dishwater diner coffee, boy was I wrong. 10-15 minute wait, drip coffee was nothing to write home about, tasted old and worse than dishwater diner coffee, and the pastry was stale, would have been ok if we were the day old rate. Place looked tired and needed a good cleaning. The staff was great and did their best to keep a sinking ship afloat.
Great environment! The espresso is pretty good, not quite as good as local shops in the area, but better than most chains. Lots of food options that aren't just breakfast sandwiches and pastries, so it's a great place to grab breakfast.
It gets cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Good food and place to work otherwise
Food is not good and overpriced. I got a bagel egg sandwich for $9 and couldn't even finish it - the bagel was soggy and not even toasted. Their menu is also extremely limited. Coffee is okay, but nothing special. Really should work on improving everything here. The location is prime, it's a waste.
Good place just want for me. I know I'm too picky on what my coffee tastes like.
I used to enjoy spot coffee, but my recent experience was a disaster. The place is INFESTED with mice. At first I shrugged off a small mouse I thought I saw at the corner of my eye, but there were at least 10! Freely roaming around. So I can only imagine they must be going to the kitchen after closing. Hopefully they fix this because this is a severe health hazard. I never really want to unnecessarily tarnish the reputation of a business that’s generally not bad. But this was a little insane and jarring!
Normally I don't complain but I go in around 6 pm on my lunch from work and order a bagle toasted with cream cheese and butter, rice crispy treat and an iced Carmel macciato . Order is 15 dollars. I get my order an leave. On way back to work I notice my drink is nothing but ice.... I go to take a bite of my bagle and it's dry, the butter and cream cheese are in the bottom of the bag. So by time I get to work its cold and no way to put on in a friendly matter. They used to prep the bagel for you. Hence why it's to go. I'm not sure what is going on there but used to come in every day and never had any issues.
