I think I really need to start a subscription from this place. I do wish they were open on weekends but I think they do that because of the location maybe. But the coffee from here is always excellent. The freshness of the beans are always ideal as I run a espresso machine at home.

The shop is more of a roaster and coffee equipment place but do have a limited selection of drinks that can be made. The beans are great and the employees are very knowledgeable on the whole process. Would recommend any coffee enthusiasts to go check it out.

It’s more of a commercial shop w/ a small section to order a cup of joe? No seating - unless I missed something entirely. Also, I don’t need my latte sweetened but the fact they did not have any to offer any was peculiar to me. The employee wasn’t too friendly either. I will say is was a well balanced & rounded latte though(:

Our favorite freshly roasted bright, light and medium roast beans. Really great flavors and unique combinations, friendly staff.

I give them a 5 star review for the coffee taste but not for the customer service or their business model. It’s very rigid. The quality of the coffee is very high.

Was bummed when their actual coffee shop closed, but recently started going back to buy coffee from them.. so glad I did! They only have one decaf most times (COLOMBIA AZAHAR DECAF), but it's really good. I like it hot well enough - but the way I really like it is brewed double strength, cooled down, then served as an iced coffee in the afternoon. It's rich and luscious and none of that weird burnt taste or missing center notes taste to get from a lot of decafs.. I swear I get a little buzz!!

Incredible coffee! No drip coffee... each coffee is made to order: chemex, hario V60, clever, (and of course espresso)... They moved locations and no longer do food but their coffee by the bag and made-to-order cups are still the best around. They also now offer a more economical line of blends that are still fantastic.

Been getting our coffee here for some time now. Healthier made and great tasting. The folks are super nice with a great atmosphere.

Best coffee around ☕ the location is a bit tucked away, but easy parking. You can see all their equipment for roasting beans and canning. The staff are really nice, there's no wifi so you have to either spend your data or socialize 😆

Had a latte, was absolutely the best cup of coffee I have ever had. Wish they were closer to home, I'd be there all the time!!

Excellent coffee, well prepared. The espresso was dialed in exactly, the milk steamed to a perfect microfoam without too much heat. There's a lot of know-how behind the bar. While the service is a little slower than I'm used to. The quality blows blue bottle, intelli, grumpy, and the rest of the larger 3rd wave shops out of the water.

It’s a pretty space, open and bright, but NO WiFi or outlets... maybe great for good conversation over delicious coffee, just not a workspace.

Excellent roaster and espresso bar with an airy plant filled seating area that really takes advantage of the unique building. Top roaster in the city I've found for single blends. Hidden a bit but totally worth it - support your local small business that makes world class coffee.

This is my favorite version of the Joe bean brand. The new space is open, casual and inviting. The coffee roasting /brewing process is on display and the product is always on point. The Espresso profile tends to highlight bright and acidic notes.

I’ve been a regular since they opened their old location on University, but stopped going as frequently after I had my kids and the space morphed more into a dinner/bar scene. Now with their re-focus on coffee, I feel comfortable taking the little ones again! Love their casual new space where you can watch them roasting and feel comfortable hanging out as long as you’d like. And of course the coffee is, as always, the best in town.

This is what the movement of really high-level coffee experience should really be all about. I cannot compare it to any other latte I've had in Rochester. This alone puts Joe Bean as the best coffee in town in my opinion - Ugly Duck, Glen Edith, Fuego, Coffee Connection, etc., I'm looking at you!I liked Joe Bean on the one occasion I got to visit their former location on University Avenue, and in some respects,

Nice vibe , good lighting, friendly staff, great coffee. Emphasis on denoting the providence and flavor of their roasts and providing tools to let customers brew at home. Really enjoyed it.

The vibe in here rules. Kind, attentive and real staff. The coffee is on another level. Also had a wild good Cookie and snagged a 4 pack of cold brew to go. Pro tip: the 4 pack is a crazy better unit price.
