Such a cute place with several menu options. I went once and had a protein shake it was great. But this morning I went for 2 bacon egg and cheese croissants and grits and it did not taste good. My co-worker was also disappointed. I asked if the eggs would be scrambled and the staff member said YES but they were more "fried like" (which I don't like) also the bacon was turkey bacon (another surprise). There was also some jalapeño like spread on the croissants that threw the whole taste off. Also the grits tasted like they had jalapeños in it. I think it should be listed on the menu that they put these ingredients in their food because if I would have know I would not have ordered that.
The cashier was very polite attentive, the ambience was chill and the food was sooo good. I got the susie b on ciabatta and blueberry muffin. I will be definitely back.
The breakfast sandwiches are decadent.
Breakfast is a little slow but it was totally worth the wait. Susan B steak breakfast sandwich was excellent and very reasonably priced
The shrimp and grits were dreadful. Grits were very soupy... Worst I've ever had

Edit to reply-My taste buds know , when you eat fresh food 98% of the time you can tell and if you say other wise your lieing to yourself. Also no I will not be calling you, I will just take my business elsewhere. Thanks. Awful, food is disgusting. Idk why their claiming fresh ingredients when it's certainly not. The only plus of this place was the building their in is beautiful but will only get 1 star from me as their lieing and the food belongs in the trash. What a joke

The tomato soup was fresh and tasty. I liked the cheese pizza. They have good choices for vegetarians and vegans.
Absolutely the worst dining experience. The Vegan platter is the worst store-bought concoction I have ever come across. This restaurant took Ore-Ida Gluten Free Frozen Thick Cut Steak (did not cook them fully) and placed them on a plate, then poured Great Value six bean mix and then added the worst/cheapest possible vegan burger on top and called it a platter. Oh let me not forget the store-bought pasta I sampled it but just could not. Zero flavor, creativity, or seasoning. It's as if they gave up on a plate and slapped an 11-dollar price tag on it. Your money is better spent on anything else. This is not Vegan food.
Love the food here and the service is one of a kind too and really happy with the service. Their menu is amazing and their price are pretty cheap too.
Found this place looking for a breakfast sandwich on Sunday morning. Very cute cafe with large menu of sandwiches, breakfast, pizza, bagels, soup, salad, and coffee/tea/chai.
Getting someone to take my order was a bit of a wait, as it seems like they might have been short-staffed. The pizza was okay and the Queen Anne latte was delicious!
I liked the Suzy B breakfast pizza because it was so unique. I'm not sure if it would be everyone's cup of tea. It seemed like a cheese steak breakfast pizza with a little egg. The cheesy sauce was interesting. I'm not 100% sure if it was cheese or ranch/ horseradish. The crust was great. Coffee order was accurate and carefully put together.
Food was good but not many options for vegetarians.
The food is pretty amazing here and the service is very friendly too. They have a great menu selection and the service staff are the best.
I have never been to Rochester before and the guy from my hotel recommended 1872 Cafe if I needed Pizza. I just ordered through Uber. The total price was $28. Unfortunately, you charged me $45. Not only that money, but I also received a messed-up pizza. I tried to reach out to Uber customer service and they told me that they hadn't applied for the promotion. I really disappointed 😡😡😡😡
A little disappointing. Took a long time at the register for the cashier to enter our order—so long, in fact, that the gentleman behind me got tired of waiting and left. Paid for our order only to learn that they didn’t have one of the items. Took a while to sort that out, and I’m not clear if they credited us for the less expensive item we wound up ordering. Pastry was stale. Coffee was good. Soufflé and breakfast sandwich good, not great. Not bad, but certainly not great.
Beautiful location, delicious food, and awesome customer service. Plus they offer some pretty good deals on Specials.
We love the food and the atmosphere. I'm vegan and my husband isn't and there's so many great options for both of us!
