Desserts are amazing. Coffee is excellent, even the sugar free vanilla was to die for. It's that cozy cafe that everyone wishes they had in their town, but we get to live it! 💕
Dumbo Bklyn vibes. Service is great, extensive but manageable menu choices and really great desserts and handmade chocolates. Their drink choices are always terrific, particularly recommend the London Fog or the Mexican Hot Chocolate (it has a little spicy kick that brings out the chocolate flavor). We are lucky to have such a great neighborhood coffee place in Red Hook, NY (Dutchess county NY, not Red Hook Bklyn)

Cheerful, knowledgeable staff. Fantastic pastries. Purchased a cherry crumb pie. Totally amazing 😲. A must when in the area.
Food was tasty, but there are so many convoluted bizarre systems in place to get your order. Everyone, staff and customers were confused. Get back to basics and figure out how to get the food to the people who order it. This place needs a reboot.

We love to start off any road trip by stopping off at Taste Buddy’s first.The breakfast sandwiches- eggs, Cheddar cheese, and sausage on a croissant-are consistently yummy with fresh, good ingredients. Cappuccino and chai lattes are the best around!
This was one of the most eclectic food shops we've been in. They had everything you could want for a snack or meal!!! The bakery options were scrumptious. And you could eat in or take out. Prices were reasonable for the area.
See UPDATE below! Terrible Tuna Melt. Borderline food poisoning/headache/nausea aftermath. The bread was soggy too. Coffee was decent though. LOL. I'll survive but will avoid in T Budd's in the future. UPDATE! After speaking with Taste Budd’s owner Dan, we agreed that my experience was unfortunate at best. He vowed to look into what happened with my sandwich and I implied I’d be willing to give the Cafe another try. Given his response I am changing my rating to 3 stars.
Everything an American cafe should be — cool staff, local art, coffee drinkers talking, and GREAT COFFEE AND FOOD to enjoy.
Taste buds is a charming place to linger for breakfast or any other meal. My wife and I drive over the Hudson River just to eat here. The muffins are especially delicious.

I find all the the food to be delicious. I'm not a coffee person, but all of their tea drinks are tasty and good on the go. I especially love the music that plays in the background.
