No subs as advertised on billboard. No re rntry to northbound and food was mediocre
No matter the time, or if I'm the only person that just walked in, I can go to the counter and the individual behind the counter will continue doing whatever it is they're doing, and then have an undertone of an attitude when I speak up, but if I don't say anything I get no service, and the times there are people in the store, they can walk up to the register or deli counter and they get greeted immediately, this is every single time I come here, I'm not saying it has anything to do with color but everyone that gets greeted instantly is white and I'm not
The person making our sandwhich was very nice, quick, and patient. The food tasted great!! This is typically what we experience here, good food and good service. We both went in to get 2 half sandwiches and then realized we were getting the same thing so we made it a whole one, instead, because that is cheaper. When we were going to make it 2 we were told we each got a free cookie. So, we didn't think about that meaning one cookie for each order, we just grabbed the cookies. While the person preparing our food was helping us, another staff member was shouting over to them about their schedule, which I didn't think was professional. Then, when we went up to pay, we had our food in the bag and our 2 cookies. I put the cookies on the counter but behind the bag and was waiting to check if the cashier rang them both up or if they acknowledged they were free as part of the deal. The bag was moved to the side to show the cookies and they paused, which made me think they were going to ring them both up. Then, someone standing behind her who appeared to be a manager or the owner, some sort of supervisor, asked if we had one or two sandwiches in our bag. We said one and told him we were told we got the cookies free, that person told us in a stern voice that the deal was one cookie per sandwich was free and we only had one sandwich so only one cookie was free. They spoke as if they were accusing us of trying to get a cookie for free or rudely correcting us. They are cheap cookies that we didn't even ask for. We just grabbed them because we originally were told they were free, so we put one back. Clearly, this was a misunderstanding, and it was on our end, but we were not happy with how it was handled. I'm not sure if they have people stealing from them and are on guard or if we caught them at a bad time or if they just have poor customer service skills, but we were quite offended by how they both treated us at the register. I don't plan on going back there, again.
Especially liked the local dairy products. Everything we had was fresh.
We ate lunch from here every day while we fished. Best subs I’ve ever had. The Turkey sun & the roast beef sub were stacked so high with meat! The subs are served on giant slices of thinkly sliced homemade bread. One $10 sun feeds 2 people for sure! Ours came w chips one day & large fountain drink the next day. This place is as great as the fishing is!! Thank you Byrne Dairy!!
10/10! Nothing beats a classic soft serve cone on a beautiful summer day.
These guys will hire just about anybody.
It's an ok spot. Wish the original location in town was still open. They were awesome.
They have some good breakfast pizza but if you ask for sausage well plan on getting bacon . It's like they dont know the difference... smh
Good place
Employees are under trained & miserable. Overall needs retraining.
Good food but the bathroom not up to par. Employee said they we're cleaning that its not there job
Nice and friendly place.
I just left Byrne dairy at about 5 minutes until 10:00 p.m. tonight.there were three people working in the store and I was the only customer and still waited six minutes to pay for gas. I definitely would not recommend Pulaski Byrne dairy. Extremely slow they waste your time and. If it were my store I would retrain the whole crew or fire them all extremely lazy they all just watched while I waited.
Went to Pulaski the week after 4th of july weekend. One of the staff members, an older male, was not only rude to us customers, but also fellow employees: blaming the younger female for a basic amount of workload while she had other duties to get done (6 people getting ice cream with no other customers in the store) openly in front of us. Furthermore, when we went to go outside and eat at the sitting areas, that exact employee came outside, sat down somewhat close, removed his mask and was coughing, BEFORE he lit up his cigarette. This made us leave, ice cream in hands, and honestly from past harsh experiences here two years ago, I will be avoiding this store in future vacations. I recommend you do too. Someone from our group posted a one star review about here just after the experience and their review was deleted. That's what this place is about.
At any other Byrne Dairy where you can fuel a tractor trailer, it's a free coffee with fill up. Not here. $295 & still pay for coffee. Definitely wouldn't call the staff friendly either.
We stopped in on our way to Alex Bay for the 4th of July weekend. You aren't supposed to let people in the store who aren't wearing masks during the covid-19 pandemic. Well, when we were in the store there was a guy walking around without one. no Byrne dairy employee said anything. in fact, he was allowed to purchase something. So maybe Byrne Dairy is a covid denier, who knows. Also, the employee at the counter had her mask below her nose while she was making food. Good ol Pulaski. You never disappoint.
