My go-to stop for whole coffee beans (and a little indulgence with the "Shammy" each time). Excellent coffee, friendly staff, relaxed environment.

My favorite place on earth! I have been coming here at least weekly for years. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and warm. The drinks are excellent every time - no matter who makes them. The atmosphere is quaint, quiet and welcoming. They have a great selection of beverages and snacks/baked goods, as well as merch and books available to borrow/trade for. They always hang new artwork from local artists on the walls. In a time when prices are skyrocketing, they've had to increase once or twice but they always let their costumers know ahead of time and their prices are still the best around! It doesn't get better than this.

Such a quaint, creative coffee shop that has a couple of tables for sitting and drinking and is packed on farmer’s market Saturdays. Reminds me of a coffee shop you’d see in a college town. Their Black Cow coffee is far and away the winner - like a frothy hot cocoa with espresso and a dollop of whipped cream. Added a sprinkling of cinnamon and cacao powder and it was divine! Recommend telling them your to-stay and making sure they serve your drink in a ceramic mug for ultimate relaxation (and plastic-saving too!) Coming back here on a quieter Sunday morning with a deck of cards and another Black Cow. 5 stars!!!!

Get the blended iced chai! It's blended together like a slushie and it's so sweet and creamy

Best coffee shop in Westchester area. Excellent , home-brewed coffee. Nice, small shop with a cozy feel. Great selections of drinks and pastries too. Very nice customers who like to have a talk. Very nice owners too. I would be there every day if I lived in area. I mainly come up to Pleasantville to go to the Jacob Burns Theater.

There’s a cantor of quiescence during dusky hours and a hum of the beatnik whilst the day is brooding. This hip coffee house has a clime that brings back youth and it’s reminiscence, it’s nostalgias and it’s long sundays paired with deep suspiros (sighs) and je ne sais quoi. We loom like moths at the moon of the white opal rooms and are madness. There is a breath like lilac like a throng of smoke hanging in the spaces of our houses and we remember all our longings, this is the same maths that brings us back to the Black Cow Coffee Company. A catacomb of teeth and feverish lumens caught in the threshing wires of these livid ghosts of all our rainfalls. We are forgetful when we parse the crucible as though hand-spun/ blind prophets drinking from paper cups on trial. They can write the liminal a river we crossed over it’s toothy smirk, as we had madness for companionship all the while our mirth sitting at tea houses with mad-hatters such as these cull the taste of cyanide witticism, a gathering of children of the lamb. The hallowed grounds (coffee) are a breath a fresh amrita!

A comfy coffee spot in Pleasantville that’s very homey. I had the matcha latte and croissant which was very good. I really enjoyed the ambiance here, with pastries and products from local businesses on display. You can tell it’s a community hub, with a consistent line throughout the day and plenty of flyers on their bulletin board. It’s also a nice location right across the street from the farmers market. I’ll definitely return again to try their chai latte (which appeared to be a really popular order)!

Can't beat the coffee and atmosphere. Met my wife here. Its on the other side of the tracks from Starbucks. Give the local guy a chance and you'll be back. Back repeatedly. Got us a pound to go. Always friendly service!

The best coffee spot I've been to in Westchester. Both locations are wonderful but I visit the Pleasantville location most, the staff, coffee, and environment is incredible. A+++
