Always choose local. Even when you’re new to the area. I found this small little gem on a low key day; where I found myself wanting a latte. I’ve been to 40 states and 10 counties. I’ve had amazing coffee, and… I’ve had the opposite. I would definitely give this establishment two thumbs up AND include my dogs as an additional 2 paws up. (She liked the pastry I shares with her.) Kind people operating this establishment. They even roast their own beans, so you know they want more than average quality to be expressed in their product. Give it a try. I am certain it won’t disappoint.

The employee often looked to the TV instead of focusing on the customer. The medium drip was okay.

Adirondack Coffee Roasters is the best place to go in Plattsburgh for coffee. I've been living in the area a few months now, have tried every cafe within a 30 mile or so radius, and ACR is the one I keep coming back to. Their mocha lattes, maple lattes and chai lattes are all excellent, the espresso is fresh and strong without being overly bitter, and the syrups high quality. I've only seen two different employees for all the times I've been in, but they're both delightful, professional and friendly. I've never had a bad or even mediocre experience here. Their fresh ground coffee for brewing at home lives up to the standards of the cafe - the chocolate peanut butter blend has a very strong chocolate and peanut butter scent but still tastes primarily like high quality *coffee*; not harsh artificial flavoring over years-old stale pre-used grounds like I've found a lot of store bought flavored coffees do.

Excellent mocha - not too sweet. And the blueberry cobbler roast was delicious! Definitely recommend stopping here for a well priced, tasty coffee

What a peaceful place! I escaped the craziness of shopping for an hour, sipping delicious coffee and writing. The barista was so kind and friendly and the prices very reasonable. If you are passing through, don’t miss this lovely local coffee shop! You can also buy a bag or two of freshly roasted whole bean coffee to take home with you!

Our go-to place for coffee whenever we visit Plattsburgh.. Wide variety of high-quality coffees. Friendly, family-owned, cozy place to relax with a cup. Small but nice selection of bakery items. Coffee-making accessories available.

Great coffee! My first trip to Plattsburgh, NY. I only had time to stop at one coffee shop and I choose Adirondacks Coffee Roaster and I wasn’t disappointed. Smells wonderful when you walk in. The Frozen Caramel Turtle was very good and the barista was very pleasant.

The staff is very friendly! The parking is always free. They have a good selection of very tasty, & yummie coffee. The prices are reasonable, too.
