Great breakfast sandwich and coffee and great staff, but when I went, the crowd was pretty pretentious. Not the places fault, I guess, but if I could I’d knock off half a star for it.

The other day, the coffees were lovely, barista was friendly and efficient, but it did not seem like a place I’d want a friend to work. Management was visibly and audibly disrespectful of her. Not the first time I’ve seen the same here, but compelled to review, as it seems to be systemic. Also, are they understaffed? Maybe because of …? Who are these people that feel comfortable being that kind of boss in 2022?

Do not care for it. Very expensive and do not serve cooked breakfast food until after 09:00 a.m.

Loved this bright beautifully appointed Cafe. We had an EXCELLENT brekky sandwich and veggie curry! The mochi donut was warm and freshly sugared and SEXY! We also enjoyed the coffee cake and the chocolate cookie. Robert was a doll! I wish there was a bigger selection of food on the cafe menu but I'm imagining that will happen in time. The sell food related gifts like unusual tableware, teas, magazines. I thought the lemonade drink was way too sweet for my palate but there's water available to cut it, so you can get two drinks for the price of one. They carry high quality teas which makes me HAPPY as a tea person but I would add a strong black tea and a mint based tea to their selection as well. We will be back!

This is a great place to stop in kinderhook. The food is Vietnamese inspired with a Hudson valley twist. They serve lunch and dinner most days. We got the vegetarian glass noodles which were superb and the breakfast sandwich. The egg was cooked perfectly and the milk bun is made in store. They also sell a few odds and ends as well as some unique pastries. They had a mochi donut that is really unique and a must try, it was very good! The same aff here are also very friendly.

This is an amazing place to go for breakfast / brunch as we did. Everything here has a unique flavor and is delicious. French toast, egg sandwich, mochi doughnut, coffee was a great way to start the day. The owner and staff were amazingly helpful and very patient as we were quite lost when we walked in. They were great with our little ones. And place is dog friendly as well.

Wonderful restaurant. Dropped by yesterday for lunch with my wife and daughter. The breakfast sandwich was superb as was the duck fried rice. Shrimp with glass noodles came in third place but everything was eaten . Will return.

Very good lunch! We enjoyed the uniquely flavored duck basil fried rice, richly flavored glass noodles, and the awesome grilled cheese twist on the scallion pancakes. Also loved the mochi donut - texture/taste reminds me of a fave pastry growing up in Asia. Glad to have stumbled upon this gem on our drive back to the city. Highly recommend!

New Kinderhook restaurant has 3 or 4 breakfast and lunch choices and a separate menu for dinner. The food is delicious and the restaurant seating is well spaced and clean. There is also outdoor seating. We also enjoyed two of their wonderful pastries: hot cross bun and a heated donut.

Ok, stopped by with several family members on Sunday. Perfect cappuccinos and lattes. The breakfast sandwich with spicy Thai lemongrass sausage and scallion aioli was perfect - and if you have never had a fresh from the oil mochi donut you have not lived. We had a toast special with papaya and other great green tasty treats on it (forget the name but see the photo! ) sweet but paired well with the spicy sandwich. The owner and staff couldn't have been nicer. The giant windows and white interior area are maybe a little stark for some but the vases of fresh tulips on the tables added a bit of color and cheer. Can't wait to come back for lunch/ dinner as my son and daughter in law have taken out on multiple occasions and have nothing but accolades. (and yes, I took a bite before the photo..... I will take that blame)

Delicious breakfast sandwich, even with egg only. Mochi doughnut should not be ignored, and the coffee cake was also terrific. Kinderhook is such a cute town to walk around, with wonderful old houses to pass by.

I was traveling,I picked morning Morning Bird because they have a food menu. We order coffee and find out that the food in not available for at least another hour … The male staff was BEYOND rude… There’s a bunch of other coffee shops/ breakfast spots in the area I wish I would have went to instead. Coffee was good but expensive. Not worth the way the male staff treated us.
