A robust, full throated espresso. friends who obsess cappuccino loved it. Various croissant options - the plain and almond were both solid. NYC/Paris reference point. Restroom is available and clean.
Authentic coffee bar serving perfect all coffee beverages, hot and cold. Cappuccino, machiatto, espresso, lattes, americano, brewed coffee. All drinks made by real coffee experts. The best coffee fix in Ithaca.
Gimme coffee has some of the best coffee beans I’ve tried. Highly recommend not just trying but also ordering beans from their roastery.
Gimme! is the best coffee chain (and shop!!!) in Ithaca, in my opinion, although the last time I visited was last August (the one in Gates Hall). As I’m not a coffee drinker anymore, I always order either their Matcha latte or Chai latte which had always been a fresh thirst quencher, especially when you add honey to your matcha - perfect! Not forgetting their pastries, I really love their butter croissant to go also did try their cookies which were amazing treats. The staffs were friendly and the service was great :)
C'mon Gimme!.....use real ceramic cups instead of silly paper cups, please!!
Helpful staff, great pastries, coffee punches above it's price range
Amazing local coffee. A must visit for visitors of ithaca and locals alike. Cappuccino is my go to and I love their scones. They also sell many varieties of whole bean coffee to take home.
Great local coffee shop chain! Location was small but had some neighborhood vibes going on inside. The pastries were fresh and the coffee was great! The staff was very helpful and friendly. They also have a bathroom. Hope this helps!
Very smooth roast. Nice staff.
A fine place to grab a cup of coffee and walk about town or people watch.
Best coffee/cafe in the area!
Delightful environment with friendly, hard working people. Delicious drinks also help! Reasonably priced too
Very good coffee, and we like that they encourage the use of reusable mugs.
I visited multiple coffee places while in town and this one has the best mocha and good prices
Good coffee, reasonable prices. Inside seating area blocked (with cratee) at this time. Would be nice if it was available. 2 bemches and 2 tables outside to enjoy
Authentic third wave coffee in Ithaca. Friendly staff, good pastries, good specialty drinks.
This is my local coffee shop and I am very sorry this event happened. The manager behaved with cero knowledge in harm reduction towards a black costumer, and immediately threatened to call the cops on brown people that were just communicating the issue in a civilized manner. It is a shame that our local coffee shop does not have the cultural and social ability to better serve the diversity of Fall Creek population. This has become a unsafe place for bipoc, disable, and other neurodivergent people. I wish @gimmecoffee would really take seriously training their managers for these events never happen again.
Did a 3 week trip to the Finger Lakes from the PNW and this was the best coffee we found!
Very pleasant coffee with small but good pastry selection. Currently no indoor seating but outdoor seating was available
I really wanted to like the coffee. They have a bird friendly coffee that I wanted to start using for my regular beans at home. Unfortunately, the two coffees I received user far too grounds for the brew, making them bitter and unpleasantly strong. Maybe I’ll give them another try in the future but this isn’t one worth the shipping right now. Edit: Thanks for the concern from the owner. It may be a matter of regional preference for very strong coffee. I definitely didn’t keep my order number and I’m not looking for refunds. I ordered drip because it was the only way I could try the bird friendly coffee beans. The drip coffee was fresh but just far too strong to balance any roast notes. I’d like to presume you don’t over roast the beans. My recommendation, if it isn’t a regional preference, is to have your staff lower the amount of beans for drip brewing. It’ll allow more nuanced roast profiles to shine in the cup without the bitterness. It’ll also save the shop on supplies and costs.
