Awesome little cafe with vegan goodies and adoptable cuties from a local rescue. Staff was friendly and welcoming as were the cats, and the food was delish!

meh there are better places; I'm hoping its not about profiling; some people can adopt cats some people just can't regardless of how many times they applied and ve been there visiting kitties mehhh bye

First time in the cafe, tried the black coffee and don’t think was as good as other cafes I’ve been to, the coffee of the hotel I was staying was better. Staff was friendly, the store was cozy, kudos for that.

Too cute! I went to the Alley Cat Cafe and it’s been a really nice experience overall. Petting the cats and kittens are $5 for every 30 minutes and you get to choose whether you want high energy (kittens) or low energy (older cats) rooms. I haven’t ate a lot of the options in the Cafe but one that I definitely recommend is the Catprese (spelling may differ). The Cafe feels homey and can get busy at times. One thing I would look out for is the price and serving size of the different sandwiches. Overall a good place!

Hot chocolate is nice. I definitely want to come back to play with the cats! They let our dog in which I appreciate.

Nice selections of beverages, especially tea and Italian soda. And you can meet the adoptable kitties for a small $5 donation to the animal shelter!

A really cute, unique place to hangout, even just the café part. Disappointed I missed the more feline pastries. The coffee and tea selection is good and whimsical, just wish they had more traditional protein options instead of having to go Gorges around the corner. The cats seemed a little despondent, but I think that's just from not being in their forever home yet. It is lovely that they have the big storefront windows at this location. Their food dishes could have been a little cleaner and full though. Kind of confused about the cat rooms, it's $5 for a half hour, but there were people at the more comfortable chairs and tables who were in there all day, some of which seemed to be staff? Also, the masks are a little much in the Spring of 2023, even to an immunocompromised, overly cautious, four times boosted person- even medical facilities aren't requiring them any longer.

This is one of my favourite places, period. The vibe is just right. The employees are so kind, there are almost always delicious, locally-made vegan pastries, and it's a safe space to be flamboyantly LGBTQ

The very perfect idea of a cozy coffee shop; plants, arm chairs, local art, kitties ☺️

We had a lovely time at this adorable place! The staff is warm and accommodating. It was nice that the cats had various rooms in which to roam freely. The prices were fair, and the cats were well-loved. If you need a cat fix, this is your spot. 💓

Staff is so easy to get along with. They love their jobs and it's easy to tell. The macaroons are the best I've ever had. And the coffee is amazing. The best part of course, visiting the kitties. Plenty of hiding, sleeping, resting places for them as well as many toys and obstacles for them to be enriched with. They're very happy as well as the customer. Space is relaxed, easy to just chill. LGBTQ+ friendly. Absolutely the best part of our trip to Ithaca.

This was an ok experience. For full disclosure, I have been to five other cat cafes in other cities and all have been miles better than this one. I mainly want to let the people reading this review know that if this is the first cat cafe you visit, do not let it solidify your opinion of cat cafes because most are much better. The positives: - staff are very nice - drinks & food have punny names that made us smile - the cats are clearly getting a lot of love The negatives: -we arrived at 1:50 and were told that they didn’t have any spots available to play with the cats until 3 and we should book online to ensure a spot… so we left and went to their online reservation system and booked spots for 2:30 and saw there were spots open for 2. Just kind of off-putting - the litter boxes have a strong odor which should not be the case if they are being scooped/cleaned properly -the furniture in the cat rooms is very worn and should be replaced - the cafe itself is quite cluttered and looks like it needs a deep scrub Overall we had a good time getting to see some cute cats and enjoy the calm vibes of the cafe, but left with some reservations about the cleanliness and overall quality of life the cats are receiving while here.

Pistachio latte was amazing. They had a nice selection of drinks and the cats were adorable. $5 for 30 min with them.

If you're a cat lover this is a "must visit" staple of local Ithacan culture. Strong sense of community and the prices are pretty reasonable, even a little on the cheaper side considering the quality of food, location and the endless adorable feline entertainment. Be sure to book rooms ahead of time during the weekends, or try to go during the weekdays if you like a more relaxed and personal experience.
