Nice place to get breakfast and relax with some friends.
The happiest person I have encounter ! Nice place to work and relax. Loved the coffe and their bagel.
Every time I “land” in a new town I head for the indie coffee shop…not just for a hot cuppa Joe, but for a sense of the community. This shop definitely delivers on both accounts. I keep going back for the Consistently good coffee , an occasional great double shot of espresso, and the bagels are good and the soups satisfying . Love that they have a parking lot and easy street parking as well, outdoor seating when the weather permits too. A couple things I’d like to see, are another protein option option or two for the bagels, possibly a gluten free bagel like the Newburgh shop has . This has become my living room away from home and my preferred version of the “village green” !
Great place for coffee, sandwiches , pastries when you are passing through the town. Have indoor and outdoor seating.
i’ve given this place a couple of chances but it’s a no for me. the staff is always rude/condescending when i ask about their options like i’m sorry but there is a lot going on on the chalkboard menu and i’m just asking for recommendations. when i ask for water they act as if i’m asking them to go dip a cup into the hudson river like no it only takes 2 seconds to do it. also the bagels taste weird and the toaster oven always smells foul when it’s on, makes me question the cleanliness of the place. the coffee and teas are also bland and the flavors are weird. overall just not a good vibe. i’m not asking for staff to bend over backwards or to be obnoxiously nice to customers but please at least have some class.
i love this place. me and my friends go here all the time and never once have i been disappointed with my order.
Very cozy coffee shop with interesting selection and comfortable environment. Staff is friendly and accommodating and it's a great place to get some work done. Interesting selection of drinks and foods.
Locals are generally there, on occasions politicians come in for lunch, since city hall is down the street.
The most amazingly delicious coffee ever. Service is always phenomenal and the drinks are great! I love coming here
This is a special community spaces defying the stereotype of needing huge college nearby to be generous. good riddance! they have the vibe without the pomp - people being themselves idling and overall this realization is particularly pleasing. Several board games to play. They even have risk which has never taken me less than a day to play. so i like that they encourage casual to an extreme, albeit an unrealistic one. the most important thing to know is this an intimate space. someone will probably say hi to you and be friendly. i like this. the vegan options aren’t extensive but are whole. the vegetarian soup is vegan, and while bland and lacking flavor does compliment the bagel with vegan cream cheese very well. They offered two vegan ice cream options too. So pleased to see these. Thoughtful business.
Hardworking staff, efficiently banging out complex coffee drinks and making delicious sandwiches for a constant line of customers, while being super polite. We loved our hard boiled egg and vegan cream cheese sandwiches. Excellent bagels and good ingredients
I loved the ambiance here. The busiest of the local businesses I went to, right before noon. They have such convenient off street parking and the day was nice enough to sit outside! I wanted coffee (and I got it) but I saw the chocolate croissant and had to try it! Amazing. Paired with the fantastic coffee, heavenly! It was an awesome stop on my travels. I will be going again the next time I visit the town.
Want a chill place with good vibes and better music? This is the local Cafe to go to then. Decent prices 👌 and some quick bites for whatever tickles your fancy. I'll definitely be coming back with the family for a quick cup of Java and bagel.
If you love Cornwall and Coffee great place to have a cappuccino and read a newspaper or text friends and family
Lovely quaint neighborhood coffee shop with friendly service and a general cute atmosphere. Their matcha latte was fantastic.
Great environment! Best place to chill and work!
I came here for the first time today and ordered a dirty chai. The drink tasted bad and I politely asked if I could exchange it for a latte since it’s the same price (This drink was still full). The drink tasted watered down and I could not taste the coffee in it. The cashier was very rude when I approached him. “Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean you’re getting a new drink”. He didn’t ask me what was wrong with it, he said “we made it just fine” instead of acknowledging my problem. I love going to new coffee shops but I’ve never gone to one that did not offer a remake or a new drink. And when you go to a restaurant or anywhere you are offered a remake or an exchange. It’s not like I asked for a refund, I asked for a new drink. If it weren’t for the attitude I would’ve stayed quiet but he was rude on top of everything.
The best bagels in the area. Staff is amazing and friendly and the coffee is great too!
Hands-down the best coffee I have ever found! I used to walk here every day when I lived in town, but now any time I am even remotely in the Cornwall area I make a stop to get my hazelnut latte! The local bagels and pastries are absolutely delicious! ☕️❤️
The best espresso bar in Hudson Valley. Thanks for coffee and cockie. Rene from Germany
