Super cool cafe, has lots of little reading nooks, board games and a used books area that are available for purchase. Feels really open but still classic cafe intimate. Productive and chill vibes, staff is also very nice.
Nice atmosphere and spacious. Hot chocolate was just so so. Update : Breakfast menu is reasonable. Vegan French toast and Waffles are good. Will try more food next time.
Employee behind the counter was so rude and unprofessional. Nice atmosphere with good coffee and breakfast sandwiches and wraps, but we won't be returning because of the horrible attitude from the staff.
Beautiful cozy place with relax atmosphere. Delicious food.
Great food and vibe! They also host trivia nights!
First time coming here & I have a new favorite. The menu has a huge range of beverages and food items; breakfast & lunch which I love. The coffee is GOOD- like, they brew it + do it well. The space is quiet enough to focus on your book/work but not so silent you can’t hold a conversation. There’s tons of seating options and cozy corners to work in & they sell handmade items from local creators and tons of books. Really feels like a hidden gem- will be back for sure!!
I'm not a cafe person. Not even kind of a cafe person. It's just not my style. Yet, seeing as how there's an exception to every rule, I am now a Mocha Lisa Cafe person. That chipotle panini is AMAZING!
Cute place, friendly service, great Chai latte and Chipotle panini.
The staff is so friendly and I have never had a bad experience here! The food is great, the drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Trivia nights are so much fun, too!
Extremely unfortunate that such a great space has a lot of flaws! 1st the cleanliness is lacking. The tables are dirty top and bottom. Cloth chairs are filled with crumbs and stains. 2nd the food is extremely generic and I’ve seen staff bringing in Walmart bags filled with food they use (frozen). The wait for two coffee's was over 10 minutes and the pace was only half full with no line. The price on some items is less than desirable, 8.00 for a cinnamon bun that isn’t even gluten free. I did give three stars because the taste of the coffee is good & using real mugs verses disposable is a plus. Also, the staff is friendly. I’ve been in several times hoping for improvements but this will be my last trip as this time even the bathroom was unclean and the soap was not working. Really unfortunate.
Love the decor and atmosphere and the staff was so fun and welcoming! Incredible gluten free butterscotch scone 😍 Lots of other gluten free treats to choose from too. Definitely a new regular stop!
The atmosphere and coffee are great. I frequent lots of coffee shops, and I would say MochaLisa's coffee is the best in Clifton Park. I have also been told their sandwiches are good. However, I was highly disappointed when I ordered a waffle for $7.50 and was served two slices that they pulled out of a box in the freezer, after they unwrapped the plastic wrap off they heated and served. My wife said, "looks lime hotel waffles". which I responded, "No worse, they taste like Styrofoam." My wife got the vegan French toast, which also came out of the freezer and seemed to be nothing more than WonderBread white bread. I will go back, but I will not purchase any food items. Update, per MochaLisa's suggestion, I returned and tried their Ethan bagel this time. The bagel was quite good and I would definitely order The Ethan during future visits.
I love cappuccino and this place has the best! Friendly staff and awesome books and games.
New review: (Hate hate hate the new location. The shop feels like it has lost all the homely aspect and they just want to be Starbucks. Really sad to see a local shop expand then become “woke” coffee shop “book store”. Hate the new menu wood boards, again no longer the homey hand written chalkboard. The charm to this place was that I used to feel like I could go there with people and have a nice quiet conversation in private, now I feel like I’m sitting in an open floor plan every single person can hear you. Again lost that cozy home feeling and now feels like another sterile generic coffee shop. If people wanted a Barnes and nobles they would go to Barnes & Noble‘s. Idk man, I hope they are happy with the changes because I’m not.) Fantastic drinks, fantastic food and fantastic atmosphere. A true Hidden Gem I would go on a date, bring family or just go to drink coffee. (A single critique I would give being in the industry myself is remove the doily liners from under your food. They disintegrate when people cut up their food with fork and knife and it takes a high-class establishment and makes it look lower than it is, and cut into profit margins for unnecessary paper good.)
Nice coffee shop with a small book store feel, if that makes sense. Nice atmosphere. More importantly, good coffee. I had a latte w almond milk. Good meeting spot.
Cute, locally owned coffee shop! A great place to grab a coffee and hangout.
Great environment. Went to the HP trivia and it was a blast! Worth the trip. Food and coffee wasn't my cup of tea to say the least, but the trivia experience was definitely worthy !
Beautiful new store that's wide open but still have little nooks to sit in for a quiet conversation or just a quite moment. Good selection of hot and cold beverages. Lots of menu ideas to grab a snack or a meal. My iced Chai tea was perfect even though the young lady who placed my order forgot to finish making it. Unfortunately the restroom needed to be clean up from other patrons leaving paper towels on the floor. The trashcan was very full. Even though I mentioned it to a young man behind the counter it wasn't cleaned. I was excited to find a tree nut free cinnamon roll. Unfortunately it tasted uncooked and very very sweet. I knew this would be a vegan treat there's a clear difference between cooked and raw gooey dough.
Wasn’t for me.
Kind owner, great latte, nice large space with books you can read.
