Was really good yuen new owners now not as much
This place was once a legend that everyone visited daily. Now a ghost town. Owners.. do you not enjoy making money but losing it? I don't understand please listen to your public
Cheap good bagels and rolls. Go there
Expected a bakery should of looked into it better and the egg breakfast sandwiches tasted like they were cooked on a dirty griddle
I stopped in this morning on the 4th of July to get some Donuts I was the only one there the lady behind the counter seen me walked in to the back I waited for her to return when she did not return I than rang the bell for service and I than waited for her and still no response from her so I walked out the service is terrible why are you open if you don't want to sell the product sounds like this place needs to be investigated to see what the problem is not the first time this has happened.I work with the public and the customers always come first .Not here! Sounds like a Management problem now if he doesn't do anything about it then it's the owners problem.Close the doors cause this woman is ruining the business Happy 4th.
My family stopped in 2 times. Each time the person behind the counter was far too busy doing nothing to help us. Today we were the only people there. The woman behind the counter was cleaning the meat slicer. My kids and I waited for her to finish while talking about what donuts they wanted. I saw this woman look at us more than once. The last time she saw that I was looking right at her. She then turned around and put her back to me. Why are you open if you do not want to sell your products? Why has a person who clearly does not want to be there made you lose money? Well, I can say my family will never go there again.
Its not Daltons anymore. New owners, a lot missing. One great plus though is you can still order an icecream at 1:30am, just not as big of a selection like it used to have.
Great ice cream in the summer but service is Extremely slow.. but worth the wait
Great coffee, delicious donuts and sandwiches. Prices throughout are reasonable. Definitely beats Dunkin or McD.
Best doughnuts
Best breakfast sandwichs
Doughnuts used to be amazing but not anymore. Picked up a half dozen to take to work today and end up throwing half away because they tasted stale & like they'd been frozen. Half the varieties are gone and it takes forever since they have 1 person working the register in the convenience store section who also has to get your food. Heard it's new owners and definitely shows.
don't be confused by the statement of donuts, I got the BEST BLT sandwich from here. Very friendly staff. I'll definitely be returning!
Drive thru closed, no more 24 hot food. Breakfast sandwiches only until 11am. Cold sandwiches in display case. Enjoyed the place before new owners. Not a place I recommend.
An update to my previous review.... In September, went in to buy a sandwich and sign at front counter says to now order at sub counter. No staff present at either counter location. Waited (along with other customers behind me), for over 15 minutes and still no staff to take the order. Finally got fed up and left with nothing. Customers behind me also walked out. So absolutely ridiculous. I won't be coming back anytime soon unless management gets on top of things. For this, 1 star. This place has become another train wreck trying to vie for the worst restaurant award with Dunkin. This on a Sunday morning at 11 am. Now my previous review.... As of June 2021, they are apparently under new ownership. They don't seem to have the extensive offerings they used to, or at least this seemed to be the case on my last visit. Order at the counter and pay at the convenience store counter. The sandwiches are good, but considerably expensive. $7 for an egg on a bagel. Yikes. Fresh? Yes. Expensive? You betcha. Interesting and old school method of order taking...tell the front counter what you want, they physically write it down on a scribble piece of paper, then walk it back to the kitchen and tell the people in the kitchen what the order is. Not complaining, but it does seem odd in the age of technology. If it helps them keep the orders correct, then so be it. Coffee is at self serve island now, similar to Stewart's. Paying for the order at the convenience store counter does get annoying, especially when you have already waited in line to place your order, wait in line to get your order, then wait in another line to pay. The moral here I guess: don't be in a hurry and come here. It won't be a quick in and out.
Dalton use to be fantastic. They are awful. No selection and awful way to order. Donuts are not great anymore.
Great donuts, good coffee and 24hrs! Loved the maple bacon donut…yummy 😋
Better than Dunkin Donuts for sure. The maple donut was great buyt the glazed was a miss. Coffee was nothing special.
Under new ownership as of spring 2021. It's was pretty good, now it's going down hill. Got food poisoning from a wrap recently, 8/2021.
I guess this place has gone under new ownership as of recently (within the past year or so)? The inside isn't anything like what it used to be like a year or two ago. And yes, if you come here don't be in a hurry. I visited a few days ago for fast breakfast and it took about 25 minutes for my small order to get done. And people ordering the same types of food were getting in and out before I did! The drive-thru was closed, so I had to go inside and didn't get in and out quick like I had hoped to. This place is quite expensive, but their food quality is much better compared to other places like Dunkin, etc. You have to go to one counter to order, another to get your food, and then to the gas station counter all the way on the other side to pay. Not really worth it to go here a lot unless you're nearby and willing to wait for food. The variety of food/drinks they have now is downhill from what it used to be and it takes forever to get an order done, even during non-busy times of day.
