Loved my breakfast so much. I understand that this bakery is in the heart of college town, so the prices are a little steep for this mom of 7. Today, I treated myself! At first, I was like this looks healthy... not sure if it would taste good. Well! It was amazing. Made me save my second year, their baked French toast for later. So good and tasty. Friendly staff and not overwhelming with choices. Just right. Highly recommend for that special for just you moment!!! Yumm!
Love the whole atmosphere of the whole place and the bake goods are to die for and the latte of the day I had was so good. amazing start to my morning thank you 😊 definitely try this place out

They did my daughters birthday cake. Was it gorgeous? Yes…… But dryer than the Sahara unfortunately 😔
Came here for the first time to try. This place has the worst service. I brought my support dog in to the place. Everyone looked wanted to see the dog. I went to the counter to order and look around for a minute. As I was about to order an older hag of a woman comes out the back and proceeds to tell us to leave because of my dog. I didn’t mention she was a support dog, I just left and took my business else where.

Chroma made us the most delicious and beautiful wedding cake. We Couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome. Thank you Chroma!!!
We took a pit stop on road trip for food and coffee and some bakery treats. It was all delicious
I chose the Banh Mi sandwich, but I am willing to bet anything on the menu will be prepared with care and is of thoughtful design. Truly exceptional flavors in a convivial atmosphere make this a standout. Cheers

I haven’t been to Chroma Cafe, but I bought some of their baked goods at the New York visitor center on I81. We had blueberry coffee cake, molasses cookies, and a chocolate croissant. We didn’t end up eating them until a few days later, and they were still fresh and delicious! We hope to visit the cafe sometime.
Besides making some of the best sandwiches in town (my favorites are their Cuban panini and Banh Mi), Chroma is one of the few allergy conscious bakeries in the area. I just bought an 8” Vegan Birthday cake for my wife to celebrate a milestone birthday and it is AMAZING! When I mentioned the type of filling she wanted (chocolate cream) the owner went out of her way to research it and came up with a fantastic recipe when most places would just say they couldn’t do it!

I love half moon cookies. I have searched from Utica to Syracuse, Albany to Troy. Chroma has the best I have ever had. Perfect balance of chocolate cake and frosting. Heaven. The best I ever had.
Nice place with nice window front seating. Surprisingly though I had asked for a latte but received a 'large' cappuccino. Not sure if staff is well versed on the various espresso derived drinks. The coffee beans were however tasty.
Gerilyn is simply AMAZING!!! She went above and beyond to create a delicious cake for my father’s special day which was not an easy feat considering he doesn’t eat sugar. She used agave and both the cake and frosting were divine. Thank you a million times over!!
My girlfriend and I both used this bakery for birthday cakes, and the process was easy and organized. The staff were friendly, and handled everything over the phone! I even had to change the pick up time last minute and they were flexible with everything. They also offer food/coffee there which was delicious as well!!! Definitely recommend.
