The Female cashier who was the one who made the Latte for my mother should learn how to smile. Was way too moody to be working a job making drink's for other's. The Male employee who made the Macchiato for me was respectful, & all good. My Mother did not care for her Latte. My Macchiato was alright, but not something I would care to buy there again. Have had better.

Consistently poor service. The inside is cool, but thats all it has going for it. You get the feeling that just being there is an annoyance to the staff. Last time I went in I was the only person waiting to order, stood there for a good 5 minutes without being acknowledged. Then someone that seemed like the owner walks to the side of the register and says they'll take another coffee. The barrista immediately starts making his coffee even though I've been waiting there for a while...and still doesn't even acknowledge me. I definitely wont be back and I'll gladly take my money elsewhere.

For years I've talked about how Batavia is missing a solid frontrunner for best coffee shop / breakfast place. ... And it's been right here under my nose the whole time! The Coffee Press is fantastic. They have excellent drinks, tasty breakfast foods, and a cozy, classy atmosphere. Their prices are so good, too, that its really hard to find any flaw with them. Batavia really benefits from having a place like this. I'm so glad The Coffee Press is in business. Check it out today!

Okay so I originally left a review after the grand opening and I wanted to revamp it because I go here whenever I get the chance!! I’m from Akron, about 30 minutes from the cafe. Whenever we road trip, most of the time we’re passing through Batavia and I always make it a point to stop here for breakfast and coffee! My original review said something about how small the portions were, but not anymore (remember my original review was when they first opened. There’s bound to be adjustments)! Their specialty coffee list changes every month and gets more and more creative each time. You can tell they have a passion for what they do here and are not afraid to try new things! The cafe is like a relaxed industrial kinda vibe that’s just wonderful! I recommend the mirror breakfast sandwich!

Nice atmosphere and great drinks. I do not like the use of to-go plastics and paper. My friend and I stayed there to chat with our drinks and were not offered mugs or anything reusable and sustainable. Thank you for your response. I apologize. I should not have assumed. After getting drinks from here for 3 years I will say this is the best cafe around. I highly appreciate the offering of organic coffees as that's what I drink at home. I think everyone should be getting their coffee here instead of the chain restaurants. Also, the staff are helpful and professional.

Freaking atmosphere is awesome; wish I could transport this place to the state I live in. Very homey, and artistic and beautiful aesthetic. Loove the typewriters. The latte was really good. Super friendly staff.

I've been saying for years I wanted to go here, just never got around to it. Finally found some free time and made it here. The coffee was great and the food was delicious, the prices were cheaper than I expected too.

what a wonderful cafe! can't help but talk about the adorable interior - the wall of typewriters, chess table, variety of comfortable seating, and happy little items throughout the interior makes for such a welcoming atmosphere.. sat outside to enjoy a nice lunch with my mom and dog! the tribune + globe combination was so fresh and delicious, I highly recommend for those who appreciate sweeter / fruitier summer snacks! any number of drinks and choices for flavoring, so you could come back endlessly trying new things or get that 'name brand drink' from a lovely local place 😊

The drinks are amazing, lots of fun combinations. I love how many gluten free dining options they have, that is rare in coffee shops around here. The service is not fast but very friendly. The decor and atmosphere is incredibly enjoyable. Prices are on the high side.

Sat and visited for an hour with just one cup of coffee. No one complained. I should have tipped more, next time I promise.

Was good. The vibe is nice, coffees and teas were fantastic and they let me order an Americano off-menu. My breakfast sandwich was pretty good - minor complaint about the cheese. You know how sometimes you just get that cheese with the plastic texture? Yeah, that. But I'd order it again. Scones A+

The place is a vibe but definitely not worth the wait it takes for food. I got my food in 15 mins and the girl in front of us left her food she waiting for 45mins and I think they forgot her food. But it's cute place to go on a date or have coffee

Adorable coffee shop. Lots of comfortable seating. I would travel from Buffalo for the avocado toast, it was delicious. Staff was very friendly.
